If I don't get today's teefury then I think I'm really going to regret it, it's too good to pass up.

I'm always too chickenshit to order to grab bag.

I've done it a couple of times and been very happy.
I skipped out on this one because I think I've liked about 3 shirts out of the past month or so. And I bought them all already.
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"
"Rick...it's a flamethrower."
If you get something you hate out of the grab bag, there's always people trading shirts on the forums. I woulda done this grab bag, but looking at what was available, the only shirts that interested me were the ones I had already purchased.

Weird, I'm pretty sure I've seen today's shirt somewhere before.

I've seen a lot of that happening lately.
A shirt that was on Shirt.Woot a couple of weeks ago appeared on Tilteed about a week later.
I guess they don't enforce the same original content policies that sites like Threadless do.

I might actually get this one:
Ha. Bought the CheFC shirt with only 2 minutes left to go.

More expensive, but more colors. And you don't have to buy it today.
I think I'll save up a bit and then buy it on light grey.

Scenario: That shirt is perhaps the awesomeest I've seen since El Boba. It must be purchased.
Problem: There is no room in my entire house for another t-shirt.
Solution: Hey, my Mom loves Calvin & Hobbes, and she's always had the hots for Harrison Ford.
SOLD

I thought that one was a neat idea, but poor execution.
I mean, if you want to get technical about it, they didn't even get the quote right.

This is awesome - a couple of guys I know have started a local t-shirt website. I got registered as a designer so I can upload designs and perhaps make some money. Let's hope it works out. I'll post links when I upload something.

This is a better Jaws shirt:
Sure why not?
STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI (Rian Johnson) - 9
STRONGER (David Gordon Green) - 6
THE DISASTER ARTIST (James Franco) - 7
THE FLORIDA PROJECT (Sean Baker) - 9
LADY BIRD (Greta Gerwig) - 8

Is it right to be profiting off of unofficial Calvin and Hobbes merchandise when the creator has made such a strong stance against merchandising of his creations?
All of the ones I've seen so far mean anything only if you already know of and love C&H.
I don't think that's the point Winston is making.Quoting [ETM] (view post)
I kind of hate that tee. Even worse that those Calvin pissing on chevy/ford/dodge logo stickers.
Wishful thinking, perhaps; but that is just another possible definition of the featherless biped.
I was making a point about the ones like the Han/Chewy up there and the "Hobbes with Calvin puppet" which are derivative and mean absolutely nothing to those who haven't seen C&H already. I know about the author's wishes, but I don't think there's harm in reverent respectful homage.Quoting Duncan (view post)
Watterson doesn't want his characters merchandised. I very much doubt he's against loving tributes like this. He never made his stance on parodies very clear. Someone should ask him.
