I just don't like Lady Gaga's music, and I find her act terribly forced.
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"
"Rick...it's a flamethrower."
Moving day.
Hottest day of the year. So, so hot.
And I wrenched the hell out of my back.
But who cares? I'M IN MY NEW HOUSE!!!

I actually think her music is quite politically minded. As a total package (that is, her statements, her fashion, her performances, her videos, music, etc) she's got more politik in her little finger than those artists you claim she's in the same vein as have in each of their breast implants combined.
The severed arm perfectly acquitted itself, because of the simplicity of its wishes and its total lack of doubt.
What bugs me is that her fashion is an act stolen from a foreign singer, and her act is pretty much Madonna 2010.
I don't see what's so original about her.
Though, while I'd never purchase any of her music, I do find her tunes pretty catchy and funky.

most great music is unoriginal.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I worded poorly.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's music I don't find painful to listen to when it's on the radio; I don't change the station when it's on, but it's nothing I eagerly seek out. Like I said I would never buy her music, but it's a step away from Backstreet Boys-quality sappy love songs to a more David Bowie sense of fun and funky rhythms.
However, I don't find her nearly as ingenious and creative as Bowie. I can't see her having as experimentally weird an album as "Low" and still maintaining a very public, loyal following.

For argument's sake, who here prefers Gaga when she was doing this:

As opposed to her now? Because me, I prefer her style and music to be the way it is now.

I'd post this in the thread for the show, but I'm avoiding spoilers as much as I can.

"Of course they are. It's my bailiwick."
No response as I think they thought I was talking about an A/C part.
