I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Recorded another cover that, barring a few quirks, is probably my favorite one so far. Enjoy.

My roommate came to my book group last night and she had some pretty great things to say about literature, and then we came home and talked about Community, Lost, Breaking Bad, Doctor Who, Sherlock and, holy crap, even Bunheads.

    She is my new friend.

I love my wife so much. To pieces. She's supportive, funny, and smart.

But if she ever makes a palatable cup of coffee, it will be a goddamn miracle. Luckily my standards for joe are very low.

Not to be rude, but what's hard about it? 2 tbsp coffee per cup (or whatever designated amount you find works best), put in water and turn on. The only difficulty I could see is if you keep changing brands and finding the right balance.

I know right?! We do change brands regularly, but I always make it the same and it's always awesome. I just can't figure it out.

A few things to consider, though:

    We use a french press.
    We grind the beans.
She usually never makes it, so does not have much XP with ratios, water temperature, and ground fineness.

    Still.

The owner of an Indian clothing store said Wednesday that he would only change its name from "Hitler" if he was compensated for re-branding costs, amid a growing row over the new shop.

The outlet, which sells Western men's wear, opened 10 days ago in Ahmedabad city in the western state of Gujarat with "Hitler" written in big letters over the front and with a Nazi swastika as the dot on the "i".

In other news, B-side praised the elegant choice of font and noted that the minimalist color scheme was haunting and evocative.

Shah insisted that until the store opened he did not know who Adolf Hitler was and that Hitler was a nickname given to the grandfather of his store partner because "he was very strict".

I am beginning to distrust your statement about your standards for joe being low. Because that's fancy pants stuff.

I once-- once-- had a job that required me to make coffee. It did not go well at all. Everyone told me how to do it differently and then got all yell-y. It was also really far away from my desk (on a different floor) and I was told to never let the pot run out. Also changing out the filter after water had been through it made me gag. It was not a fun experience.
    ...and the milk's in me.

I use a French press too. It seems pretty simple to me. Ground coffee, dump them in, pour hot water.

I gotta wonder... I mean, the swastika is a symbol of great respect to Indian/Hindu culture, before it was bastardized at least, so there is technically a logical explanation, but could you really both use the name Hitler AND a swastika and NOT have known that you were creating the perfect storm of symbolizing hate and disgust?

French press is awesome, but it is too much work for a weekday morning. It strictly gets its use on the weekends. The difference is definitely noticeable though.

Manual drip works perfect for weekdays, also tastes better than automatic drip.

Percolators also make a mean cup.

Man, I could go for some coffee.

Yeah, thanks a lot guys, now I want some good coffee and I have to go out and look for one. The coffee machine at the office only makes chewed up tobacco leaking out of an ogre's dick.

I put Trader Joe's Medium Roast through a Black and Decker $20 coffee machine, and it tastes great right now.
