This is a formica table. Green is its color.
Giving up in 2020. Who cares.

The difference between a $1 table and a $5 table isn't much at all.
But the difference between a $5 table and a $500 table is a whole different thing.
I've done a week's worth of work in the last day and a half and now I'm fucking exhausted but I still so much in the groove that I feel like I should do more.
I know the feeling. Makes weekends and vacation feel so good.
Hey, all. Been a while.
Hope everyone's been well -- missed you guys!
You're welcome.Quoting Irish (view post)

Did we celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Match Cut without my noticing?
No, but there's officially only three websites (that still exist) that I've been a member of for longer. In this order.
1. Ebay
2. Google/Gmail
3. Amazon
4. MC
No, nobody said anything and I thought that was weird (but also very MC).Quoting Isaac (view post)
How can you tell?
I sent anniversary cakes to all the posters I liked.

It was good. But it was addressed to B-side.Quoting number8 (view post)
Yeah, that occurred to me the other day. It's pretty Match Cut to not get too animated or excited about community things anymore, but the big one-oh is something I'd have expected at least something about. Of course, I didn't say anything myself.
I'm not sure when Match Cut v. 1 was established, but I joined there in February 2007, if I remember correctly, and have been posting with you lot for about 11 years. Which is p. wild. Within a week of joining I was arguing with Davis about religion.
Memories.
Almost everyone has a join date of November 2007, although I don't know if that counts the pre-artboiled era. I seem to remember we had a movie award thread for 2006 (Hugh Jackman won best actor), and I'm sure we didn't wait until November 2007 to do it.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
05 is when I joined axis... it turned into two sites (for some weird reason) the annex and MC.
The Annex took on the ambitious task of data-basing all the horror movies we watched. It was fun to contribute to. It died as I recall one of the posters who owned the database faded away.
I bought this domain in 2012, so yes. Everything got transferred over from the original forum as is.Quoting Isaac (view post)

Well, I think we all know that the real anniversary is in September of 2010. That's when the boards got good.
Heh heh heh.Quoting Sycophant (view post)
What was the site called during the Rebort days?
How were The Axis of Evil and Icine (?) related?
So much history!
Icine was a lot of fun too. A lot more "community" things.Quoting D_Davis (view post)
Sometimes I like to reread this thread for the lulz: http://matchcut.artboiled.com/showth...-Was-President

I love his idea of abolishing public schools.
