I'm not exactly an authority when it comes to putting together banners or what you absolutely should avoid or shouldn't. I tinkered around, put some drop shadow on, and thought it looked fine. So, yeah, I don't think the drop-shadow looks that bad, personally. Or bad... at all. But apparently, it's worthy of criticism. I'd like someone to elaborate on that actually because others are probably seeing something I'm not.

At least it seems more people like it than not. For now. :P

We used to. Everyone entered into a list and each week the next person on the list got to send in a banner to be used.

I was attempting to come up with a consistent logo when I made that a few months ago. Meh.
