Did the Dakota Fanning rape movie go straight to video? (Unless it had a blink-and-missed-it theatrical release?) Not that I want to see it...I just remember all the hullabaloo at Sundance and then it seemed to disappear.

Ridiculous. I'd say it's the most insanely gory and unapologetically violent American film I've seen in the last couple of years. Not necessarily good, but that's OK.

Will rent Hobson's Choice and Changeling. I'd recommend Menzel's I Served the King of England, especially if you're a fan of Closely Watched Trains.
