In his first year at office, he's basically hit all the checks he said he would (short of abolishing Obama care- which I doubt will ever happen)

My take was that his biggest promises were (a) to repeal and replace Obamacare and (b) to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it.

He has failed to achieve either of those, and he's shown a measurable disinterest in holding to those pledges, as his admin clearly has no interest in an Obamacare "replacement" (and even with 51-vote reconciliation, they couldn't repeal it, their only option was to kneecap it by repealing the Individual Mandate in their Tax Bill - they essentially bribed the American public for a couple years to supplicate before insurance companies).

And his admin is currently requesting tens of billions of dollars to build the wall. He's not going to make Mexico pay for it, he never was. Just like he was never going to drain the swamp.

Oh, that's another promise broken. He was going to "drain the swamp" and chided Clinton for her coziness with Goldman Sachs. His cabinet includes: Secretary of the Treasury Steve Mnuchin (Goldman Sachs), Treasury Secretary James Donovan (Goldman Sachs), National Security Advisor Dina Powell (Goldman Sachs, former GWB cabinet member)... and former hires like Steve Bannon (Goldman Sachs, underwritten by Bob Mercer) and Anthony Scaramucci (Goldman Sachs).

He did however give validation to neo-Nazis, brag about sexually assaulting Miss Teen USA participants, pay a porn star hush money to cover up an affair he was having right after his wife gave birth to his son, constantly attacked the free-press and the first amendment, host the first ever Fake News awards, failed to impose new sanctions on Russia even though the Senate voted 98-2 for them, failed to help Puerto Rico a US territory where tens of thousands are still without power, enact the worst tax reform in US history, shifting wealth from the bottom to the top in unprecedented numbers, impose tariffs on the solar industry that will kill 20k jobs, get into a playground squabble with North Korea, insult every single one of our allies, lower the US's standard on the world stage (Europe and Asia are moving forward without the US), nominate a number of anti-LGBT judges and staff, renew and strengthen the war on drugs, appoint the SCOTUS seat that Bitch McTurtle stole from Obama (what an accomplishment!), propose to cut research funding into renewable energies by 71%, eliminate regulations that have helped clean up the environment...

But hey! The stock market is still going up thanks to Obama's policies, so that's good for some people! Way to go, Trump!

Sidebar: is it truly all that impressive, what Trump's accomplished, when you consider the fact that he has majorities in both congressional houses and in the Supreme Court and is currently doing a slow-motion purge of all resistant judiciary forces?

I mean, congrats, yeah, Trump and his admin tricked their way to the top with gerrymandering, losing the popular vote, withholding an Obama supreme court nomination, jamming every bad idea into a pork-barrel reconciliation budget bill.
