They always are for comic book moviesQuoting Morris Schæffer (view post)
Ben Mekler tweets out ridiculous praise on big budget movies without having seen them, and people fall for it every time. He trolls fanboys and I love him for it.
So far he's been quoted by The Wrap, People magazine, entertainment.ie, and Complex as an example of early positive word of mouth, lol. His tweets are so obviously silly and yet these sites don't care. They're so desperate to hype the movie they'll quote virtually anyone.
Wait, he's remastering Batman v Superman too?
He's the new George Lucas.

What the hell is going on with this guy? Has anything he said been confirmed?

Yes. Both Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot have said that Whedon was an assbag to work with and the overall feeling on set was very toxic.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
Gadot said recently (last week or so) that she had to approach producers to have issues with Whedon "dealt with".
That being said, we still are only getting vagueries about what happened with Fisher. He claims racism against him and other cast and crew.
I read that one of the more "major" issues Fisher had was that he refused to say Cyborg's catchphrase ("BOO-YAH!"), which sounds pretty silly. But that could very well be WB cherry picking information in order to paint him as being difficult and diva-ish.
But with both Affleck and Gadot in his corner, I think we can safely say his complaints are not unfounded or made up.

That's unfortunate. Whedon was a genre darling for so long. I wonder if it went to his head.

Rumors floating for a few years now that he is a creep and a perv, too. Which is especially gross and disappointing since he kind of crowned himself King of the Feminists for many years.Quoting Spun Lepton (view post)

Anyone read Ray Fisher's giant Twitter tirade, where he STILL doesn't detail anything that allegedly happened, even though he is officially out of Warner Bros. now?
I really, really hope it doesn't come out that this was just a HIM problem.
I know Gadot and Affleck both complained about Whedon being a dingus on set, but his continued allusions to bad behavior from Geoff Johns and Walter Hamada are just that still...vague allusions.
The worst he has come out and said about Hamada is that he tried to deal with the situation quietly and not ruin the already trouble production.
He needs to do what Corey Feldman also needs to do - start getting into specifics, or shut up already.

Yeh I saw it. He's blaming everyone under the sun. The geoff johns thing is wild.

But his continued vagueness about all this, even now when his contract with them is null and void, raises too many red flags.

I assume its because while he may be fine with being done with WB, he probably doesn't want to scare off other studios by blasting too loud in public? *shrug* I don't know anything, so I don't really have an opinion on it. Ben did say in a recent interview that "[being able to wear the Batsuit to his sons birthday party] was worth every moment of suffering on Justice League."Quoting megladon8 (view post)
Hmm. Nah, that didn't add anything Ray.
My thoughts too. Other than maybe the initial reports accusing him of being uncooperative?Quoting Skitch (view post)
I guess? Although this was from early December and he recorded it, and the previous interviews were from before that, right?Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
That added nothing.

This is like a flagship title for HBO Max.
Wouldn't be surprised if a physical release either never happens, or is a long, long ways away.
