oddly enough, that they make it a straight sequel, Mad Max 4, instead of another reboot/remake bullshit sounds very appealing.
Yeah, this is for me the best part of this news.

we come to an age when a sequel means paying respect to what the other guys did and and reboot is showing a middle finger.

Here's a video from ABC Australia of Miller talking to press in the car workshop and taking them around some of the early models for what's going to be seen in the film - also, a press conference. Link

Apparently, this is all being shown over and over and over again in Australia.

They need to make another The Mask movie. Go back to the comic, make it a surreal, serio-comic horror/action film.

    Done.

So, The Interceptor. Which makes me wonder - when does this take place, in relation to the other three films?

I wouldn't mind another The Mask movie. The first one is a childhood favorite of mine. Let's forget Son of the Mask exists, though.

The Mask was a strange adaptation, if you think about it.

"Hey, let's take this violent, tragic, surreal horror comic book... and make it a Jim Carrey comedy!"

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

First M. Night Shyamalan, then Alfonso Cuarón, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, and now Ang Lee?

out of the bunch, lee's actually the most appropriate.

Studio has tapped "Tropic Thunder" scribe Etan Cohen to pen "Men in Black 3." There are no deals in place for the franchise's stars Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, though it's unlikely that Col would greenlight the project without the duo's involvement.

Not even if Zemeckis films it in live-action with a man in a rabbit suit and computer generates animation over it???

Zemeckis already said he would never do that. He's keeping it 2D.

I'm rereading The Odyssey for the umpteenth time and I thought that here's a book that needs to be filmed well. IMDB shows only a made for TV movie and an upcoming The Odyssey (2012) directed by George Miller with Brad Pitt involved.

Yeah, that's good but I'd like a Spear and Sandals rendition. I see that this 2012 version might be futuristic?!
