I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

The title got me confused as hell. Not Blomkamp anymore. Tho that would have been pretty sweet.

This looks watchable on a bored, rainy day.

Ah finally, this trailer got pulled some time ago. Good to see it’s got panicked birds, if there was an E.L.E. Cinematic universe, these characters might know each other and could start to haul ass as soon as they looked up at the sky.

edit:the FX make Geostorm look like an Ed Wood film.

What's weird is I can't find any trace of this movie online. Just Watch doesn't list. Wiki lists the release date as June 12th. Not on Amazon.

    WTF?

Blandest poster in ages. Butler's laughing and the poster claims The Town is a John Wick franchise.

It's just not punctuated is the problem. Along with trying to get the people who loved The Town and John Wick and Clash of the Titans into the theater.

Well, it's happening this Sunday. My first theatrical visit since March when It was The Invisible Man. With a generous side order of covid restrictions. Still, I'm kinda excited.

Well, it was good to be back in theaters. I told a buddy of mine that one of my fave publications gave Tenet five stars. He said something along the lines of 'well, perhaps they were too excited to be back in theaters.' Perhaps unreasonable euphoria played its part yesterday also, but the movie 'Greenland' was pretty convincing if you can accept that it is a disaster movie and thus nothing too groundbreaking. And yet, this is a cynical and cold-hearted world which isn't afraid to show the dark side of humanity when all hell breaks loose. And that's not what I'm used to in these kinds of movies. It's not all action and special effects either, it feels like a halfway realistic depiction of the end of the world as we know it.

As for the Theatrical experience, well the auditorium was fairly empty so at no point did I feel unsafe.
