    Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

This is exciting. The game almost plays like a movie as it is. It would be hard to fuck this up. Really. Anyone who's played the game knows how brilliant it is; graphics, voice acting, story,. I have one request; Cast Nathan Fillion for this role. Uncharted Drake's Fourtune

The story follows a descendent of explorer Sir Francis Drake, a treasure hunter named Nate Drake who believes he has learned the whereabouts of El Dorado, the fabled South American golden city, from a cursed golden statue. The search becomes competitive when a rival hunter joins the fray, then is racheted up several notches when creatures -- actually mutated descendants of Spaniards and Nazis -- begin attacking those hoping to learn the treasure's true secrets.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Game is great but, you know, hollywood will fuck this up.

Uncharted is the best Indiana Jones rip-off i've ever watched or played, the chemistry between characters is a rare thing in videogames and while the plot isn't anything to write home about, the game's narrative and set pieces are very compelling.

i don't know if it will translate well, though, as simple as it may sound, Uncharted the game is fresh, but as a non-interactive adventure is common territory.

    No he doesn't.

Is Fillion the new Bruce Campbell - the actor whose mere casting provides instant movie geek cred for a movie, despite the fact that he barely does anything and actually is rather dull underneath the committee-written wisecracks?

It sounds just like him doesn't it? But Nolan North voices the character. Same guy who does the Prince for the new prince of Persia.

Could someone explain that? because I don't see it at all. He's a good actor, has charm, wit and can deliver a line. What about him is dull?

Nolan does a lot of voice work for videogames and animated features, with the occasional small roles in tv shows and movies. I wonder if he could play the actual Nathan Drake in the movie, i'm used to his voice already.

It's good to know that, even if Peter Jackson or Neil Jordan threaten to tear us apart, we still have an unbreakable bond forged in mutual hatred of random targets in the film world.

I was going to post exactly that, but then realized I probably wouldn't mean it as much as trans or Sven, and decided to wait. I am satisfied.

His roles in Punch Drunk Love and Synecdoche, NY suggest you people are wrong. Not entirely wrong, but pretty wrong.
Wishful thinking, perhaps; but that is just another possible definition of the featherless biped.

I know Sven likes PDL, but I found PSH to be rather mannered and less than convincing in that. It was a very "actorly" approach to being a bad ass. The best PSH performance remains that in Boogie Nights.

    I haven't seen SNY.

Nathan Fillion > Phillip Seymour Hoffman
    Sure why not?

STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI (Rian Johnson) - 9
STRONGER (David Gordon Green) - 6
THE DISASTER ARTIST (James Franco) - 7
THE FLORIDA PROJECT (Sean Baker) - 9
LADY BIRD (Greta Gerwig) - 8
