They don't need to suspend him for more games if the Ravens just cut him. It's not a huge loss; he's just a RB.
Ravens could cut him but if he's not suspended he can be picked up by another team and play.

I think he's toxic at this point, PR-wise. Richie Incognito hasn't been signed and that bullying furor went away a year ago.
On a side note, Chris Christie has issued a decree allowing New Jersey casinos and racetracks to accept sports bets, as long as the game isn't originating in Jersey. This is obviously because Atlantic City is going down in flames but it'll be interesting to see the NFL's response since they were the primary backers of the opposition.
They've terminated his contract. Way too late.

So it took the video being released for them to terminate his contract? So bizarre.
Yeah, pretty gross if you ask me. I find it super hard to believe no one at the NFL or the Ravens had seen the interior elevator angle. Feels like they just crossed their fingers that it wouldn't come out.

In a much lighter note, I laughed pretty hard at this.
Why is nobody burning down the judge who saw this and decided probation was the way to go? The corruption of the legal system seems a bit more worth damning than an NFL franchise not cutting its star RB until the atrocious video is made public. The team stated they were not allowed to see the tape. Goodell on the other hand.... how does he survive this given he was to have seen this video?
He said they never saw that video from inside the elevator.
But now the NFL has announced that former Ravens RB Ray Rice has been suspended indefinitely.
How Goodell survives this is mind boggling.
I have a friend who works for the Ravens in the PR department, and per Facebook, she is not having a good day.
