Love this idea
Rewatched Logan tonight. Still think it's a darn good flick, but wonder how much of its popular appeal is because it steps outside the usual MCU tone.
Whatever, it's a good movie and killer closer to the Wolverine trilogy.

I've watched it a few times. Think it's great in many different ways. Steps away from the other X-Men movies too. Wish there were more solo x-men movies.Quoting Skitch (view post)
Spider-Woman in the works
Black Cat would be the better character IMO.
Awesome.
Would this be the Sony-verse or Marvel? Or both, like Tom Holland Spider-Man?
I would be much more interested in this than anything more they do with Spider-Man. Just don't care anymore.
It's a bummer that I haven't seen a Garfield OR Holland Spider-Man movie, and that I don't plan to change that status.
My guess is only the Sony-verse tied in with Venom and MorbiusQuoting megladon8 (view post)
I hope so!Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
Venom was horrible and Morbius looks like a music video for an Evanescence song.
If that's the case...yeeeeeeesh.
J.C. Chandor to do a Kraven the Hunter movie?
.......
Wut?

I'd bet $100 that this won't happen with ChandorQuoting Wryan (view post)
I hear Morbius has a great cast...and also Jared Leto.
oof
Wow, they took away the only things appealing about The New Mutants.
Losing is like fertilizer: it stinks for a while, then you get used to it. (Tony, Hibbing)
Wow. Chadwick Boseman. RIP. Never knew he was battling with colon cancer.
Holy shit. No wonder those photos came out a couple of weeks ago showing how thin he was.
This is devastating.
Let's see if Kevin Feige can pull this together. It's not all butterflies and rainbows for Marvel now. They are really in a rut.
Poor, poor Disney. Won't someone think of the IP?

Kaluuya just going to walk into it I'm sure.
Dude's been dead less than a week. This feels ghoulish.
I'm sure they had a 2:00 a.m. all-hands ghoul fest meeting at Disney the night they heard.

Also, it will surprise no one to learn that New Mutants is not very good. To say more could have been done with it is the understatement of the year. It's barely "horror," and it feels too lightly sketched in all respects to leave much of an impact. Gets points for really trying to make something of its characters' traumas, but you literally do not need to see it to know what happens. It happens exactly as you can imagine if you read even the smallest amount of information on the characters or plot.
