So a the Minnesota court destroyed the governor's credibility and removed the state's power to effect public behavior.

What will they do when cases surge?

I really don't understand what the hell they're thinking longer term.
    Wisconsin.

And the court met remotely. You’d think people would understand why they met remotely...

Weird how so many people who are the loudest about freedoms and rights fucking hate it when others practice freedoms that they don't agree with. Surely, if you are so gungho about rights, you shouldn't give a fuck about someone wearing a mask if they want to. I mean, if you are not going to be a snowflake cry-baby hypocrite about it.
Because they're idiots who listen to an orange jackass who ignores science and reason.

Yeah, again - what's with this "armed protesters" bullshit? When DO they become terrorists, when they actually hurt someone?

I chuckled at all of this, then remembered I'm from Iowa and people forget we even exist. Or in one case they think we are another state...

Funny to see foreigners draw where they think states are at. Not like we could do the same for other countries.

I can do a decent job for Canada and Australia at least.

For now. Most of us Iowans think that after this latest caucus clusterfuck our first in the nation status is endangered. They may be right.

World Health Organization says COVID-19 could be around forever, and a former government scientist said the window opportunity to fight it is closing.

In-person social interaction was fun while it lasted.
No way America or even the world would stand for that. The "new normal" would be 5% of the country dying before we all become bubble people.

Yeah. Not sure if your "ripping the alarm clock out" analogy was pro or against the measure.

Get groceries in my town, half wear masks (this is up big time from even couple weeks ago). Drive 25 min to more city area 90% wear masks.

One thing is the same though, those not wearing masks look at you ANGRILY or roll their eyes.
NM and CA people are being forced to wear masks in public spaces. I don't think you need one if you are well beyond 6 feet from anyone (say 10 feet or more) and out jogging or hiking, but I think if store employees are forced to wear them, it's just a sign of respect you wear one too. I feel like an asshole if I'm up in some low wage grocery employee's space breathing on them while they are required to wear a mask.

Even if it lowers the risk of transmission by 1%, wearing masks is worth it. Along side everything else, of course. I have entered the elevator in my building like five times in the past two months. Waited in line for takeout two times. Had stuff delivered four times. Took a taxi once. Sat in an outdoor cafe once. We all just have to persist, no matter how low the risk seems.

Wife and I haven't conversed with anyone physically other than delivery people, my neighbors across the street and family.

Going to Home Depot and doing the drive through at Pressed was the most interaction we had have had since March. It was weird.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

That's why people keep putting it into context with comparisons to war casualties and 9/11 deaths...
