What's with dress slacks having such a complicated button/fly system? I have a button on the outside of my pants, a clip on the inside, another button on the inside, and my fly. All that, and I still have to wear a belt to keep them up.
Wishful thinking, perhaps; but that is just another possible definition of the featherless biped.

    They're also damn uncomfortable.

Mine are pretty good on that front. Very smooth material.

Shouldn't she get off every once in awhile? That doesn't seem healthy, chafing-wise.
This should not have gone unnoticed.

Oh, and I'm sorry to hear that iosos. The bright side is at least you aren't working for an asshole anymore.

Doesn't bother me, really. At least we always know where she is, and best of all, no more watching Finding Nemo three times a day.

I was looking up Bus Stop, the William Inge play, on Wikipedia and came across the entry for 'bus stop', as in the place where one would wait for the bus. And I thought to myself, who the hell is taking the time to compose an encyclopedia article on friggin' bus stops?

One who works for a bus company, and thus has a vested interest in the construction and use of bus stops, perhaps?

Maybe more people will use public transportation if we actually explain to them what a bus stop is.

He's overworked, been busy research new developments in the public transport field, traveling to different public transport conferences, writing up lengthy proposals, putting his heart into it. At the end of the day, he comes home, sits down at his pc, types "bus stop" into his search bar. This isn't a concious decision, he's just typed those two words so often over the past couple of weeks that it's become a reflex. He's not feeling happy about his life, wondering if he's made the right decision in getting into this buisness, he's feeling a bit worthless. He notices a distinct lack of a wikipedia article on the first google page, he thinks "why not? It'll pass the time", and as he writes this article, he gets a sense of satisfaction that no matter how dull this subject might seem to others, this is a subject he's passionate about, this is something he knows. He is an expert on bus stops.

Is the PS3 a worthwhile investment in place of a BluRay player?

I remember several friends having lots of trouble trying to use their PS2's as DVD players - many DVDs didn't work, the slightest scratch/dust would render them unplayable, etc.

I've been wanting to invest in a BluRay player for a few months now, but if a PS3 does the job just as well (or better) then I'll go with that, and have the added advantage of being able to play wicked games.

The only disc that hasn't worked in my PS3 is Lady in the Water on Blu-Ray. I should've taken it as a sign.....

Of course, that was a couple firmware updates ago, too.

Picture/sound quality is equivalent to a BluRay player, though?

I have a 40" 1080p TV with surround sound to hook it up to, so I just want to get the best bang for my buck, since I'll be using it a lot.

I have a 720p/1080i, and it looks absolutely awesome. You really notice the difference when you go from a blu ray back to a DVD. I run the HDMI cable from the PS3 to the TV. It supports 1080p, which I may have to upgrade to when I get my severance.

I use the ps3 for Blu Rays, DVDs, and those things called video games.

Spinal, do you mind driving down to Wilsonville and checking to see if an engineering company is still in business? My company uses them occasionally and we have been trying to reach them about a job and their number is disconnected.

    Thanks in advance!

I've heard and read that the PS3 is one of the best BR players on the market, especially for the price.

Our big screen TV died last night, so today my dad went out and picked up a new one.

    Sansung 52" widescreen LCD 1080p.

I can't wait to play the 360 on this baby.
