The Bears always have QB problems though. Sad thing is Mitch is probably the best QB they've had in a long time.

    Bad move on the Colts.
I don't know, they gave up relatively little for him.

If Wentz can't succeed in Indy his career is over. That team is built for him to do well, although granted they do need another WR since poor Hilton seems to be banged up and is likely to leave in FA.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

    Eli?

Brees will definitely live in the shadow of Peyton and Brady, despite holding record numbers. His one SuperBowl win seems low, but Saints always had a way of getting jinxed in playoffs.

No Peyton. Too many one and dones and that terrible Colts Super Bowl performance. If these guys are SO great, why didn't they win more championships? Or at least get there more often than twice?

These under performing "elite" QBs always have an excuse on why they lost. Poor defense, Jinxed, bad ref calls, bad coaching...

Really it's just bad QBing when it matters.

All those things can have an effect, for sure.

But a great QB finds a way.

    28-3 at the half.

Btw, I'm the king of studying bad QB play. I have thus crowned myself.

I mean, I think Peyton is certainly in the elite crowd in every conversation.

These are the only QBs to have won multiple Super Bowls:

    Tom Brady – 6.
    Joe Montana – 4.
    Terry Bradshaw – 4.
    Troy Aikman – 3.
    Eli Manning – 2.
    Peyton Manning – 2.
    Ben Roethlisberger – 2.
    John Elway – 2
    Jim Plunkett – 2
    Bob Griese – 2
    Roger Staubach – 2
    Bart Starr – 2

Peyton and Brady are the only two to have done it with different teams.

Brady lost to Eli twice and Foles once. Neither of those guys are elite QBs. Peyton is definitely an elite QB and a Top 5 all time at the position. And yes Brady is better than him although Peyton got the last laugh during their final playoff battle.

Bob Griese and Eli Manning are both overrated. Big Ben keeps playing to pad his stats but he'll probably get in the hall anyways. Plunkett is probably underrated actually although woof his QBR isn't even 70. Elway has a mediocre QB rating overall but he did take the Broncos to multiple Super Bowls so there was no way he wouldn't make the HOF. Bradshaw might be both overrated and underrated all at the same time-the same goes for Aikman.

My point is Brady didn't underperform in those games and had brought them to a lead in the 4th quarter. The defense lost those games. Especially in the game where Brady ho hum threw for 500+ yards.

Duke... Outside of Brady, who are the other elite QBs in the history of NFL to you?

The list above is accurate (with maybe the exception of Eli). I'm just arguing the underperforming part. People to this day, say Rodgers is the best QB in the league and the guy can't get out of the first round.

When Packer fans bring up their Super Bowl victories, I mention that they had back to back HOF QB’s and you only managed one Super Bowl victory per QB. Tends to shut them up.

He didn't do particularly well in that second loss against the Giants. Sure he threw 2 TDs but had 1 pick and was held under 300 yards passing. I realized I had looked at the second SB the Giants and Pats played against each other. In the first one between him and Eli Brady didn't fare any better: 266 yards and one TD. The Giants held the Pats under 20 points in both contests. Ouch considering in both contests the Pats were favored to win and they were heavily favored in the 2008 game.

Many consider Dan Marino to be one of the best QBs of all time and he never won a Super Bowl. Football is more of a team sport than the other ones which is a reason I like it so much.
