I stand with Duke on this one. I like all sorts of giant monster films including Pacific Rim but the 2014 Godzilla is lifeless and stoic, filled with pretentious Nolan-isms.

I really love Pacific Rim and the characters. I rewatch it at least once a year. Hated the sequel.
Godzilla 2014 is better than any Marvel movie so far.
