I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

The Hateful Eight definitely, but more so to Episode VII. I think the former is likely to be better, but I feel like I have a good idea about what to expect with QT whereas the Abrams one is a bigger risk. Beyond lens flares, I´ve no idea what to expect. I actually feel the same way about Terminator Genysis, a probable stinker, but that makes me even more susceptive and receptive to the possibility that I´ll be dead wrong.

Did they move it up? I distinctly remember it saying 2015 on IMDB at one point.

Considering I went from watching almost 200 films in 2013 down to maybe 20 in 2014 I'm pretty sure the only two films I'll see in 2015 will be Furious 7 and The Hateful Eight.

    3. Star Wars: Episode VII
    2. Silence
    1. The Hateful Eight
    These, plus:

Knight of Cups (Malick) -- But, release-wise it's Malick, so...
    Crimson Peak (Del Toro)
    Trainwreck (Apatow)
Inside Out & The Good Dinosaur (Pixar twofer!)
    Midnight Special (Jeff Nichols)
    Pan (Joe Wright)
Poltergeist (because I like Gil Kenan and the cast)
Get Hard (starring Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart, written by Key & Peele heads Ian Roberts and Jay Martel)
    Kung Fu Panda 3
    Mission: Impossible 5
    Magic Mike XXL
(Slightly trepidatious overall, but Soderbergh is still doing everything but direct so bring it on!)
The Revenant (Iñárritu -- Even though I still haven't been able to see Birdman.)
Hopefully many films by directors I don't realize have films coming without flashy casts or premises or who I've yet to discover.

and Entourage, baby! OH YAAEEEYUH [

If you haven't seen it, you should add Bibliotheque Pascal (Szabolcs Hajdu, 2010) to your "to-see" list.
"We eventually managed to find them near Biskupin, where demonstrations of prehistoric farming are organized. These oxen couldn't be transported to anywhere else, so we had to built the entire studio around them. A scene that lasted twenty-something seconds took us a year and a half to prepare."

If it doesn't, then at least it's already the best film of 2014.

I think about it pretty much daily.

    1. The Duke of Burgundy (Strickland)
    High-Rise (Wheatley)
    Hill of Freedom (Hong)
Love in Khon Kaen (Apichatpong Weerasethakul)
    The Knight of Cups (Malick)
    Inside Out (Doctor)
    Tomorrowland
    Silence

We're past the typical window for Lee Chang-dong to put out a film, but it looks like nothing's forthcoming. Depressing.
    The Boat People - 9
The Power of the Dog - 7.5
The King of Pigs - 7

    1. The Hateful Eight
    2. Jurassic World
    3. Spectre
    4. Mad Max: Fury Road
    5. The Gunman
    6. Knight of Cups
