I got fired from my work yesterday (not a big deal, since the job was just a run-of-the-mill dead end job anyway).

Spending Christmas alone and miserable now.

Nah, I got my schedule mixed up and looked at a different day so I accidentally came into work 30 minutes late. It was my "last straw" there (mostly bullshit reasons), so they fired me.

I'm glad I don't work there anymore, since I've been tired of the place for so long, but the whole applying for new jobs scares the hell out of me and gives me anxiety attacks.
    Sure why not?

Yikes. Hopefully that doesn't end up being the case with my current ride.

Probably all Christmas. I was originally planned to work all day, but now I have no plans. All my family is out of state.
Find a cool bar that's open. People in bars on Christmas are usually super friendly, and everyone is basically in the same boat.

I do Bar Trivia every Tuesday night, but for some reason, this bar is closed tomorrow.

It doesn't help that I spent 80 dollars on drinks last night to drown myself in misery. I'm a walking stereotype.

I'd say it'd be kind of weird if people didn't get anxiety applying for new jobs.

You live in Brea don't you?

    I'll give you one:
Stock Position - 100915 for job number

I can set you up with the questions you'd be asked.

I've already to applied to three jobs in the past hour (mostly Customer Rep work).

Filling out an application is easy. It's the interviews I struggle with.

Technically, I have a job right now. I am a tutor at the Writing Center at my college, though it's not enough hours to occupy me.

Job trouble sucks. Then again, I brought mine on myself because I want to be an editor in film/video production. Despite getting freelance work from late summer to the fall, coming home to a family that suggests I give up on my dreams because I don't have a permanent job in the field isn't the best feeling in the world.

EDIT: But I stared failure in the face before, and everything turned out alright. I even told them that in 2012, I got my foot in the door. In 2013, I'll be the one to shut it.

I'm the exact opposite. Hope things work out. I've found that losing dead end jobs has only ever been a good thing for me.

Last activity was early AM on 12.23.2012. No reason for alarm.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

"Wintry Mix" sounds so festive and comfortable, but the reality is ugly and a little alarming.

A little bit? Take a look at his post history. He did that to his posts going back at least six months, which must have taken hours. I like him, but holy hell I've rarely seen such a drama queen. I don't know the man but I'd reckon a Xanax wouldn't be entirely out of order.

I think you are giving him a little bit too much credit in the drama area. Anyone can do this in a matter of seconds. He's clearly not returning, and even my endorsement won't bring him back.

Two posters lost in a few days sucks.
