That WiiU controller reminds me of...wasn't it the Jaquar that had an ungodly huge weird controller?

Yeah and I think it had something like 30 buttons.

No, like I said, twice I paid out the ass to get graphics cards that were the best available - once in 2000, and once in 2006.

    Never again.

Actually, "From Dust" looks even cooler.

Wow, I want to play that really badly.

I have a mac, although it's bootcamped so I can game on the other side. I'm just saying computer gaming is better than console gaming, and cheaper.

The games may be cheaper, but you have to pour money into the computer with relative frequency to be able to continue playing the newer games.

I also just prefer the controls and overall feel of console gaming. I find it more accessible and more fun.

If it's available for Mac, all I have to worry about is if I meet the OS X requirement. Never had an issue otherwise. Granted, I've played a whole two games on this Mac.

I barely use my PS3 for gaming. Think I'd use my computer for it? :P

You also have to buy new consoles to play the newer games. You can buy a controller for computer. I project games from my comp onto my projector. It. is. dope.

Also you can play any older games (including console games) on emulators.

Plus you get any other added benefits to whatever else you do on your computer when you upgrade for games or vice versa.

It would be, but I don't like playing a guessing game as to whether or not a game will work for my computer.

If I buy a 360 game, it'll work on my 360, no questions.
This logic would work if the 360 didn't have a 33% failure rate in it's first 3 years of existence. BUt then again, you could just as well say: "Well I didn't have any problems with mine"

For the record, I have every console and I prefer PC. IT's by far the best solution.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

But the failure rate was with the actual system, and yeah that sucked.

I did have problems with mine, I am on my fourth console.

At that rate, wouldn't it be more of a guessing game whether your console turned on, rather than software running on windows works? I don't think I've had problems with a computer since 2006. XP SP3, Vista and Win7 are very stable. It's nothing like the early days of XP.

With game sales on steam bringing the cost of gaming so low, it's hard to not to love a PC.

What console is the best is a pretty dumb thing to be arguing about.

It's all about personal preference. I own a 360, PS3, and a PC and I owned a Wii for a year and a half. I prefer the 360 for my gaming. I love the controller, the variety of games, the variety of XBLA games and the achievement system. But at the same time I acknowledge that all of the systems have their strong points and their weak points.

Now a game to be excited about, Batman: Arkham City, brings news that you can fight up to 30 enemies at once, and probably will even play as Catwoman.

And for sportsfans, it looks like FIFA 12 is redefining the way to tackle. I can't imagine a better sports game already. I still play it.

With games like Arkham City that I know I'm gonna buy no matter what I don't read or watch anything about them.

I've owned many consoles as well (only next gen one being the wii though) and I can say with the benefit of hindsight that all other concerns aside from a financial perspective they're really a rip off (especially the wii). I'd much rather put that money towards bettering my computer. $300-500 dollars + $10 more for any given game on average + more $$$ if you're buying on sale Steam games. I also find HD TVs to be a rip off compared to projectors.

And again, you can use your Xbox 360 controller on a PC.

Well once again I'm glad you'd much rather play games that way. I don't. I'm not gonna discuss which delivery system for games is better then the other anymore.
