I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

Blu-Ray player and Netflix Instant Streaming on the TV? That helped convince my wife (as well as the fact that the kids would be entertained more often during the summer).
Yeah, the Blu-Ray argument worked on my wife too.

So apparently I must've pre-ordered Sin and Punishment 2 like a year ago, and I totally forgot about it. It arrived at my work yesterday. Don't know if I'm going to keep it or not.

I also vote for Dragon Age. Best RPG I've played since FFX.

Just beat Red Dead Redemption today - it was amazing. I'm going to start Deadly Premonition next.

Finally started playing again. Started up GTA: The Lost and the Damned. It's fun, the missions are decent, but every so often I just wanna wreak havoc and piss off the coppers. Haha now that can be real fun!

Inbetween, I've played a few sessions of Outrun Arcade on XBLA. It's cool.

Swapping Mass Effect 2 for Red Dead Redemption with a friend. Looking forward to it.

Then I'll play the DLC for Mass Effect 2, hoping another mission comes out.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

I started playing ME2 last week and I'm already 25 hours in. I'm in love with this game.

I'm currently playing it as well and I'm about 20 hours in. I'm pretty hooked, I've already done all the loyalty missions and quite a few side missions. All I have to do now is acquire the iff reaper or whatever and do the suicide mission, I'm pretty excited to see how the end turns out but also sad that's almost over.

    Nonsense.
Tis true. You know it's weak when you can't even upgrade your weapons manually. Everything is spoon fed you to. Which isn't a bad thing in games, but it's a bad thing in advertised RPGs. The first game was better, even with the broken money system and retarded planet searches.

Dear God no. While I still don't like harvesting planets, it's a hell of a lot better than going through room after room of baddies that all look the same. The worlds are bigger, there's more story and interaction. Everything in Mass Effect 2 is better. I can't really fathom thinking 1 is better than 2.

So far Red Dead Redemption is alright. Basically GTA: Wild West. Having more fun doing the "Sharpshooter" searches then the missions.

What's better in 2?? Worlds are bigger? Do you remember wondering the Citadel in ME1? As opposed to the 4 rooms you are given in ME2? The only thing that's better in 2 is the lack of elevator time. The story is weaker, there's ZERO customization (which is kinda important in RPGs), and everything is spoon fed to you. The entire game is building your crew and "side stories" and you get to use them all in 1 final crappy mission... The ending to the first game was much more epic (and hard for that matter). People get overjoyed with the decision making process in ME2 and think that's the best thing since sliced bread. It's not and people need to wake up. I enjoyed ME2, but if I were yaying or naying it, it would have scored a 51/100.

The Citadel is really the only large world in 1, whereas 2 has plenty more. The characters are infinitely more interesting, and yes, the decision making process is pretty key.

The missions you're given are much better also. Some aren't even straight up shoot'em up. I thought about doing another go as another character, but can't bring myself to go through 1 again. The load times, and the amount of walking I have to do (world's may be bigger on a map, but essentially the amount of rooms you get are still the same, just spread out more) are too annoying for me to want to go through it again.

I chose Normal for combat and riddles. So far, this games looks incredible.
