What happened on 01-27-2010 at 10:07 AM that led to 333 people being online? Did Spinal get naked?
that may have had the opposite effect.

Oh god, the dilemma. Co-workers asking to friend me on Facebook. The amount of offensive shit I got on there... but if I put them on a limited profile, they might get offended. I've never had to face this before.

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

Accept and then delete them immediately. They'll get the message that you accepted their request, and if they look for you after that, just say you don't know what happened, and that they're still showing up as one of your friends. Draw things out that way as long as you can.

Plus, there's always the chance that they won't notice you deleted them.

Hmm, I might try that. You're a good FB friend, KF. I'm sorry I made fun of you for liking Cougar Town.

I just as a practice don't friend anyone from where I work unless I'm friends with them outside of work. Makes things simple.

The only way they'd know they're on limited profile is if other coworkers or some mutual acquaintance isn't. Separate your social groups and you'll be fine.

At the jam party I went to tonight, two people asked if I sing professionally. That makes me feel good about me.

Just had dinner with MC Frontalot (whom I just saw for the first time as a performer and was astonished) and Adam Savage, with whom I had many a long discussion about movies. It was very pleasant.

Awesome! I met Frontalot at the bar around the corner from my place, apparently his place in Brooklyn is pretty close to me. I just shook his hand and told him I was a fan as he was about to leave, and he just said, "Wow, I don't get recognized often. You should tell those two girls I was sitting with. They refused to believe I was a rapper."

Did you just randomly bump into them or was this planned?

Does anyone else find that often the smallest little cuts and scrapes hurt the most?

Yesterday at work I scraped a very small (just a few millimeters) patch of skin off the first knuckle of my left middle finger. I was just opening a bucket and the plastic edge caught my finger at the right angle.

Any time that area of my fingers even brushes past something, it stings like a rotten S.O.B.

I swear I've had bleeding gashes that caused less grief than this.

    *hmph*

Yes, because there are more nerve endings in those regions.

    Damnit 8!

Yes, I like Cougar Town. A lot. I started watching it one day at work when I was bored. My sister loves it and swore that I would too. The first couple episodes were just okay, nothing more. The further it went the characters really grew on me, and their chemistry together just gets better and better. I'm totally hooked.

You can no longer riff on Battlestar Galactica after this.

Yes. I can. That show takes itself seriously. Cougar Town does not.

That would be awesome if I randomly bumped into them and somehow weaseled my way into dinner with them.

No, my wife played a show here in which they were featured. There were also about ten others at the table, so it's not like I'm THAT cool. Still, it was a wonderful opportunity.
