Played Mass Effect 2 way too long last night. I don't know if I like that most of the missions are simply recruiting people, but I like that there's more subplots with those characters along the way.

i love that aspect of the game, but I feel like that's ALL you do. The main plots are so short compared to the loyalty missions. How many loyalty missions have you done?

So, I've graduated to Hard on DJ Hero. Played the first DJ Set, got five stars on all four songs, thought, hey, this ain't much more tough then the latter songs on medium, so I fired up the second set. First three songs I got five stars and was feeling pretty good.

Then came the last song of the set - Blondie/Atomic vs. Gorillaz/Feel Good Inc. Kicked my ass. I felt lucky to get 3 stars on that bad boy. It's gonna take lots of practice to five star from here on out. Good thing the songs are so awesome.

Man, I love this game.

The side missions in Mass Effect 1 are definitely beginning to bore a little now and I'm sorta eager to return to the main quest. And that would mean having another shot at Matriarch Benezia who's holed up on Noveria. I think I'm ready now.

All right, I made it to the final boss -- the demon dragon -- in Dragon Age Origins, and was completely trounced by it a few times. Any advice other than, "stay away from its tail" and "throw everything you've got at it"?

No I ain't watching that. I received God of War collection today however. I get to check out these games for the first time. In 720p!

There are a bunch of ballistas at specific points of the scenery, they do much more damage to the dragon than your party but have limited shots. Go for them first - and keep your party close to you - also, throw all the support you still have, i've made the stupid decision of wasting almost all the mages on the way to the boss, they are very useful, dwarven and human warriors also help distract the dragon and the darkspawn minions. Good luck.

updated my PS3's hard drive to 500GB last night.

Took 90 minutes to backup, 5 minutes to install, 10 seconds to format, and 90 minutes to restore.

Not entirely sure what will make this better than GTA IV, but the character work looks and sounds phenomenal. I'm hoping the gameplay will be less rigid than Rockstar's last. If I park a car in a certain strategic position, I don't want said vehicle to magically vanish after a cut scene.

Just awesome. One of my favorites, even if it's pretty annoying to gather artifacts from other planets to upgrade your stuf.
