Did you watch that show? It's not as about the city as The Wire, but still reflects on it.Quoting Mara (view post)

I don't want to hear Tiger Woods apologize any more. Just let him resume his playing career!

Apparently, "The Corner" that "The Corner" is talking about is six blocks away from where my sister lived the first time she moved to Baltimore. (Which was really a scary neighborhood.) So, yeah, I don't think I'm watching that one.Quoting Ezee E (view post)

Having seen and read parts of the speech (from highlights-no I did not bother to watch at 10 am in the morning), I agree with Simmons. Beyond those opinions, the only way I would have truly given a damn about Tiger's speech is if he would have opened it up for questioning. But that was unlikely to happen.Quoting Raiders (view post)

The part that I don't understand about that is why people care.
So he cheats on his wife. So what? He's not a politician or a school teacher. He's a golfer. Americans are such prudes.
Well, People care because Tiger's wife is incredibly beautiful and all the women he hooked up with were unattractive trailer trash or slightly attractive porn stars. Pretty mind boggling.
