    Oh, I see.
Oh, YOU see? YOU see? Because you're a man, and so you understand it better than a woman would? That's just what's wrong with society, men are too afraid to admit they're ever wrong, or that a woman is right!

    Yeah, sounds fun.
Fun? You mean like oggling women? Treating them like pieces of meat to be evaluated on purely superficial terms? That kind of fun?
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"

    "Rick...it's a flamethrower."

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

I feel like I make a variation of this post regularly, but the current conversation has brought it all up again. I just spent a week with a friend who has a new baby, and her husband, who is sort of a friend, is completely falling down. He's sulky and self-pitying and is using his own unhappiness as an excuse not to do his share with the child, who is sick and needs as much care as she can get.

But instead of taking this as a railing point against Men, the situation actually brought home to me, in a very powerful emotional way, how the majority of men I know, when confronted with difficult and life-changing events, have shown unsuspected depths of strength, compassion, and bravery. The boys I knew became Men when they became fathers, or dealt with the death of a loved one, or had to struggle through unemployment or heartbreak. I'm proud of them, and I feel pity for my sort-of friend for not finding that kind of strength within himself.
    ...and the milk's in me.

    What site is it?

I've been wanting to find a t-shirt site with stuff that's genuinely funny and clever, not just lame internet jokes like writing commonplace phrases in L33T-Speak.

And God, prankster that he is, saw fit to reward this insight with broken brake lights.
And then God, eager to rub it in, asked the other two PA's in Jim's office to be extras on the show while distracting Jim with a production run that didn't even happen.

Not all jokes. The website selects an artists' creation and sells it for a day on their site for $9. There's some good work.

Well, there will be lots of major sport events in Brazil in the future. Rio got the Olympics in 2016 and they also have the World Cup football in 2014.

Today and yesterday, I spent about eight hours driving in the rain, and I really would like to remind people that just because your car turns on your headlights when it gets dark out, IT DOES NOT TURN YOUR FUCKING LIGHTS ON WHEN ITS FUCKING RAINING.

I believe it is actually law in NC to have your lights on when it is raining, even in the daytime.

Strange, while living in NC, I don't think I ever heard this law spoken directly, but I always knew of it and followed it. Maybe just by seeing other drivers. Not sure.
