So, my new position that they're moving me to next week looks to be much more hardcore than mine now. I very much doubt I'll be able to go to Match Cut or anything like that once I'm there.

    So. Hmm.

You should bring this to their attention. Maybe they'll change their mind.

Am I the only one who remembers, and loved, Keebler's O'Boisies chips from the late 80s and early 90s? Well, even if I am, I just discovered that they are being made and sold again! Doesn't appear Keebler is the one making them, but they taste as good as ever. Currently eating the Cheddar Jalapeno and it is delicious.

    Can you recommend a replacement?

    Charles Chips > all

They even used to deliver! Just swap out those ultra-cool tins. Anyone remember these?

I kind of wish there was something on the Match Cut calendar besides just birthdays.
    I just added a non-birthday event

And Bono is seven flavors of good, musically and charitably--he should have won the Nobel Peace Prize ahead of Al Gore. That moment has cheapened the award for me.

Oh, awesome! I think you guys are getting married on the same day some friends of mine are getting married (I'm one of the groomsmen).

The only reason Bono wanted the Nobel Peace Prize was so that he could have a sticker on the new U2 album listing that accomplishment. That way all those people who haven't heard of the band and were on the fence about buying their new album could easily be swayed.

Cool! It seems like a good day to get married. I'll admit the symmetry of the date 09-06-09 was not insignificant in picking a date.

The nominees desire for the prize affects the judging? or the worthiness of their receiving it?

And Bono is not money hungry, during the height of the music stealing/ file sharing press, I recall reading somewhere that he said something to the effect of "we've got enough money."

Yeah, Gore was a way worse choice than Yasir Arafat.

I was being sarcastic in response to the people who believe Bono works to solve the global debt problem as a front to sell more albums.

Okay, so the soil where I live is awful, and our yard is nothing but shade, but I garden anyway because I'm a masochist.

Anyway, my poor, scrawny little green bean plants actually produced my first green beans of the year, which I triumphantly gathered up. (All six of them.) I put them in a bowl and left them on the porch while I weeded the rest of the garden, and my own mother came and at them all up without asking me.

The fruits of my labor. Possibly the only sad harvest I'll have all year.

Mostly I think this is funny, but a tiny part of me is actually annoyed.
    ...and the milk's in me.

State your preference: italicized movie titles or bolded movie titles?

The latter is so obtrusively annoying... posts and posts, just filled with bolded movie titles, demanding your attention and focus.
Nothing really needs bold at all. Italics are for movies, books, plays, albums, newspapers, etc., "the whole."

Quotation marks are for scenes, chapters/sections, songs, articles, etc., "the part."
