Hmm, I don't think showing initiative is the problem, because as I understand it, she's been seeking out movies but literally can't get people to cast her. I don't know what about it that intrigues me, but it's actually kind of sad.

''She had the world at her feet,'' says the head of a major studio. ''And right now, she'd have to pay a studio to get herself into a movie.''

Of the producers and high-ranking execs who spoke to Entertainment Weekly — some of whom have worked with Lohan, and most of whom insisted on anonymity so they could speak frankly — almost none would hire her now. ''Her career was over long before she had these troubles,'' says the studio head. ''The media treat her like she's Will Smith or Tom Cruise, like she's some big star, but she simply isn't.''

''Her troubles are what made her famous,'' says one studio exec. ''Her films don't open. She's a pain to work with. I think she's done.''

And now she does this shit.
    It's like a Tim & Eric skit.

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

People forget, just a few years ago, she was supposed to be the next great thing. People thought that in about 10 years she'd start nabbing Oscar-caliber films.
and why shouldn't they! based on freaky friday and many of her old films, the girl obviously got talent.

on a somewhat related note, two week ago i went to a lily allen concert, and lohan showed up on the stage singing britney's womanizer along with allen. a surrest moment, since we are not really quite sure who is this "guest." she's way slimmer than her screen persona.

Maybe that's because you're comparing it to the screen persona from pre-2005, when she was still relatively healthy. She's a bag of sticks now.

Every chance I get. I'm pulling for Kenny Perry. 49 and never won a major. This is probably it for him. I like that story. Plus Tiger and Phil being paired together today should be fun.

I'm hoping to catch the end today when I go over to the fam's for Easter dinner. The Masters is my favorite golfing event of the year, which puts it high in running for top sporting event overall.

Ugh, I haven't been so sick to my stomach since, well, Easter weekend about 9 years ago.

If anyone has any miracle cures for nausea or the runs, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Screw you Jesus, for giving us such an unsatisfactory conclusion to The Masters. Tease us with Mickelson and Tiger, with Kenny Perry's feel good story, and then that?

Mickelson's miracle hook shot (can't remember the hole) was amazing.

Agreed, and I say that begrudgingly because I'm not a fan of Phil's. (That was the fifth hole.)

To be fair, I was rooting for Angel when it came down to the playoff. The guy deserved it.

Best shot of this year's Masters in my opinion.

Just can't watch golf. I love sports and all, but that's one I can't get excited about. Akin to Auto Racing for me.

dang, I meant to sleep around 2 am, but got sucked into Match Cut and now it's 4:15. I never thought Match Cut could do it to me. Other sites sure, but never before Match Cut. I even started making some more top lists...

Yeah, the guy's good, tho I too was pulling for Kenny Perry. Cabrera won the 2007 US Open, so I was hoping to see a new face in a green jacket.

Why do I hate Phil Mickelson? I inexplicably root against him, no matter what. I just want to see him fail. I have nothing against him, nothing conscious. Is that wrong?

Yes. The guy is funny, he's personable, he's self-depricating, he's everything that Tiger isn't. He acknowledges the crowd even when he's struggling, he smiles on the course, and not just when he's made an incredible shot. He generally seems to enjoy his life and his career. And he doesn't pout like a bitch when he's struggling. There's that too. Yeah, Tiger is absolutely dominating, and he's amazing to watch. But I can't bring myself to openly root for the guy. It's akin to rooting for the Yankees.

    Why does "Richard" become "Dick"?

    Why does "Margaret" become "Peg"?

Two nicks often used for their respective names, but they don't make a whole lotta sense to me...

I made the choice yesterday to start watching more golf.

I'm not a "sports guy", outside of the big soccer events, but I really like watching golf.
