I never neg repped either. I fear the backlash.

I've been tempted to neg rep a few times, but always catch myself (I think). I don't think I'd ever neg rep for opinion--only for bad form.

There's one poster in particular who I was constantly tempted to neg rep. Then I just put him on my ignore list. I usually read his posts anyway, but I get the satisfaction of a neg rep without actually having to start up any vendetta shit.

    Don't speculate.

EDIT: Meg and Ivan--it's not you.

I did once - but on accident. And the mistake was corrected.
Ha. Yeah, I accidentally neg repped dissent once, but gave him double rep for my error.

Found out this weekend that Jess and I will be Godparents to my younger brother's second born, due date is March, I believe. Its a boy, and it sounds like they're gonna name him Wyatt.

You bet your ass he's getting a pair of toy six shooters for his baptism!

    Hah, nice.

And I've always wondered if I've made anyone's ignore list on any site. But then I realize that I'm either not that annoying, or its simply easier to just skip over my posts. Thy ego deflated....

I figured I'd already done enough to get neg-repped by Wats, but apparently I haven't insulted him strongly enough.

    Yet.

So has anyone else gone outside to see Venus and Jupiter so close to the moon? Supposed to not happen again until 2052 I believe.

Was about to, but odds are pretty good I'll still be alive in 44 years, so fuck that shit.

EDIT: November 18, 2052, if anyone else wants to mark it on their calendars.

I don't know that you can see it right now. It's a very small sliver of moon, and I think it may only be visible around dawn and dusk. I couldn't see any moon just now, but I'm pretty sure I saw both Venus and Jupiter.

Goddammit! I knocked over a bottle of isopropyl alcohol that was sitting on the top of my dining room table, and now I have a huge spot where the stain has rubbed off. Blasted clumsiness!

Going to NYC in less than a week.

Anything anyone wants me to keep an eye out for?

Headed out to Sweden on the 8th, coming back on the 19th.

Perhaps I'll wander over to Copenhagen on the 13th.

Venus and Jupiter were amazing. I saw them after leaving work at 6pm. They were so obvious. A coworker said that if you tilted your head, the two planets and sliver moon looked like a frowny face. Still, though, they were bright as hell. Amazing.

The window would have been much easier to fix. For this, I'll need to take the top of the table out to the garage, re-sand, re-stain, re-seal, something which will have to wait until spring. Meanwhile, I'll have this huge ugly gray splotch staring at me. Time to break out the table covers!

Is it OK if I eat a meatball sub at 9am?

This sort of mistimed craving must be Subway’s reasoning for opening at 7am.

I asked a guy out for the first time a few weeks ago, and it went really well.
This guy just e-mailed me about a job opening where he works.

Is that... what is that? I think it means he likes me (I mean, I'd be working with him) but I might be misreading it.
