    The Marvel Animated Film Thread

    Trailer here

    "Anyone up for some avenging?"

    :frustrated:
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"

    "Rick...it's a flamethrower."

i didn't even watch the trailer, but from that screenshot alone it looks awful

Planet Hulk - Marvel Animated Movie

    Trailer here.

The "Planet Hulk" comic was freakin' awesome. "World War Hulk" was a huge letdown, but that first 12-issue story was great.

Marvel Animated Movies tend to suck, though, and this trailer shows some pretty awful voice-acting.

Mmmh. Animation looks cheap, and the action looks uninspired. Marvel really don't know how to make these animated movies, do they?

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

Wow. I think I've seen some Flash cartoons with more frames of animation than what was shown in the trailer.

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm and Return of the Joker are still the benchmark for animated superhero movies.

They're better than 90% of live action ones.

I like Mask of the Phantasm quite a bit. Never seen Return of the Joker.

    It's awesome.

    See it.

    Unrated version FTW.

    Sorry, un-cut version.

Which is also unrated, according to the back of the DVD.

I forgot you're in Canada. In the US, it was released PG-13.

Are there any decent Marvel Animated movies?

So far I've watched Planet Hulk and A few Thor movies and one of the Iron Man ones, but they are nowhere near the quality of the DC animated movies. Even the ones directed by Sam Liu.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Yes there are...Ultimate Avengers 1 & 2 are sweet, Dr. Strange and Iron Man were good origin movies.

Also the Black Widow/Punisher thing was surprisingly good once it finally got going. Cool to see all those characters in anime style. Have you seen the anime series versions of Blade, Iron Man, and X-Men? Those were really cool.
