I like how it flashes Match Cut when you click on the banner.

First one, please. Match Cut needs to make that happen.

I wish I could get teh 4th one lined up so when you hovered over it the floating "Match-Cut" was in between her fingers. lol
Looking at those Mad Max banners only fuels (heh) my desire to see the movie yet again.

“What we are dealing with here is a perfect engine, er... an eating machine. It's really a miracle of evolution. All this machine does is swim and eat and make little sharks and that's all.”
Wonderful tribute to Christopher Lee.

Every time this thread gets bumped, I have Will Arnett's "Take a look at banner, Michael!" jump into my head. Thanks, MC.

Hahaha, the one Mad Max image we could'a gone with for the banner and it's not actually in the movie!
I still like the shot, but after watching the trailers between my viewings of it, I realized it wasn't actually there in the finished film.
First one Skitch posted is my favourite. (Though, nitpickingly, if it was closer to the actual contrast and colour-timing of the real thing, without that website tag in the top right).
Last 11 things I really enjoyed:
Speed Racer (Wachowski/Wachowski, 2008)
Safe (Haynes, 1995)
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (Parker, 1999)
Beastie Boys Story (Jonze, 2020)
Bad Trip (Sakurai, 2020)
What's Up Doc? (Bogdanovich, 1972)
Diva (Beineix, 1981)
Delicatessen (Caro/Jeunet, 1991)
The Hunger (Scott, 1983)
Pineapple Express (Green, 2008)
Chungking Express (Wong, 1994)
I knew the color was off (hard to find HD big screen grabs) but I never noticed the website tag. Doh!
She's all like, "I'm crushing your head!"
Coming to America (Landis, 1988) **
The Beach Bum (Korine, 2019) *1/2
Us (Peele, 2019) ***1/2
Fugue (Smoczynska, 2018) ***1/2
Prisoners (Villeneuve, 2013) ***1/2
Shadow (Zhang, 2018) ***
Oslo, August 31st (J. Trier, 2011) ****
Climax (Noé, 2018) **1/2
Fighting With My Family (Merchant, 2019) **
Upstream Color (Carruth, 2013) ***

Best banner ever.
Agreed. This banner kicks ass, and it's all out of bubblegum.
Losing is like fertilizer: it stinks for a while, then you get used to it. (Tony, Hibbing)
I've done a custom hover effect for the last two banners and they were fun to do. I may not do it with every banner, but I'll try when appropriate. This one certainly warrants it.
