That was an incredible turnaround! Now to take down Chelscum on the 8th, and claim their spot in the top four.

So Suarez just bit a Chelsea player...
EDIT: And then scored a literal las-second equalizer. Hate him, but more importantly at the moment:
Hahaha eff Chelsea.
What is wrong with him?!
He was suspended for seven games in 2010 for biting a player, one would think he'd learn his lesson.
Yeah, he's up there with my most hated players in football. I don't understand how someone can be that talented, but constantly resort to cheap tactics and ridiculous tantrums. He's a complete head case.Quoting ThePlashyBubbler (view post)
My entire family was celebrating his goal, though. My kids for a Liverpool draw, and me for a Chelsea collapse that helps Spurs take advantage of their weak final five games, including one at Stamford Bridge, to make the top four.
It was 1-0, but I felt Spurs were getting their act together. I go to make breakfast, come back and its 3-1. I missed ALL three goals. Grr..Quoting Kurosawa Fan (view post)
But more importantly..COYS!!!
(Defoe's strike was gorgeous)
Wow, he practically became a vampire there. Much less respect.
Stunning result in the Bayern/Barca match. I mean, I picked Bayern to advance to the final, but a 4-0 drubbing of Barca is a rare feat. Wish I could have watched it.
Ditto. I did get to see the play of Ribery breaking Messi's ankle though. Hilarious.Quoting Kurosawa Fan (view post)
Bayern is definitely making sure they take it this year. After losing to Chelsea, they dominated the German league enough to already have that league cup in the bag. They can focus solely on the Champions League. Barcelona's defense is depleted... They have no chance next game because they lose Alba now.
Bayern Munich VS. Real Madrid should be good.
Sidenote, Gotze already announced that he's leaving Borussia Dortmund for Bayern Munich next season. Could you imagine if these type of moves happened in America?

I wouldn't count out Dortmund. They beat Madrid in group play.
Bayern is poised to become the new Barca. Three Champions League finals in four years, plus adding Pep and Gotze next season. Could Pep be stepping into an easier situation? I don't think so.
Also, ten match ban for Suarez.
So much for any Europa hopes. They'll be a team to watch next season.
Hate to say I told you so...Quoting Kurosawa Fan (view post)
Very nice. Wish I saw Lewandowski kill it.Quoting Kurosawa Fan (view post)
When was the last time both Champions League finalists were from the same country?
Man U over Chelsea a few years ago. Milan v Juventus and Real v Valencia both happened in the last 10-15 years as well.Quoting Ezee E (view post)
Also stop being such a racist asshole, Suarez. Thanks because you're awesome at playing football.Quoting Ezee E (view post)
Race for these two Champions League slots is gonna be incredibly tight if Spurs can gut out a win at Chelsea.
Yeah, after the draw at Wigan, they really need to win out. That's the only way they make the top four, and keep Bale another year.Quoting ThePlashyBubbler (view post)
LOL Barcelona when Messi isn't playing.
Won't surprise me if they add Neymar next season or seek out a new striker. They're all fabulous passers though.
Isco will likely be their summer striker addition. I think Neymar is a flake (though a really talented one). I'd be really worried about dropping that kind of money on someone relatively unproven.
Fair point. Only a matter of time until someone dumps the money on him. He's only 21, so he's still got plenty of time for growth. Just wondering who'll do it.Quoting Kurosawa Fan (view post)
I've read where they'll be going after Hummels (Borussia's best defender) and one of the top Italian GK's to replace Valdes.
Keep reading reports that Bale may not be going anywhere.
I think Bale is a lock to leave without a top four finish. With CL qualification, I think he stays another year. Really depends on his price tag. If someone is willing to drop $50 mil on him, I think Levy will pull the trigger either way. That's just too tempting a dollar amount to pass up.Quoting Ezee E (view post)
Never leave, Gazza.
What'd he do now? I was hopeful the rehab stint in the U.S. would have a positive result.
Ha sorry, no, just meant Gareth.
Oh, okay. That makes more sense.Quoting ThePlashyBubbler (view post)
As for Spurs, that Chelsea win pretty much kills any shot at third, being so far behind on GD. Feels like another trip to the Europa is in store. Wish I could be more optimistic, but Spurs don't win at Stamford Bridge. Haven't in over ten years in league play.
Goodbye, Sir Alex. Can't say you'll be missed. Odds on favorite to take over is David Moyes. I'd put a fiver on Mourinho to get in the mix before all is said and done.
Spurs need to win out for contention. Arsenal has Newcastle/Wigan. Chelsea just has Everton after today...
Hopefully Chelsea is putting efforts into the FA Cup on Saturday.
