It's Van Gaal's job. No doubt in my mind. He used Spurs as a backup in case Moyes turned things around, but he's been lobbying for that job all along and his history of immediate success is exactly what United needs.

That was gut-wrenching. Oh well, at least Chelsea is still likely too far out to win the title, and it's City that will benefit. Small consolation for Reds fans, but it's better than that loss handing either the Blues or Man U another title.

I can't see Chelsea doing it at all at this point. The extra game from Man City helps give them the title I think. Everton is depleted, and the two teams they're facing are bottom table without risk of relegation at this point.
