This is why I hate fantasy football. I'm riveted by the last two minutes of a blow out, and all I care is that a guy makes ONE CATCH!

My dad won a game in week one because he got an extra point when Aaron Rodgers took a knee twice and got to 8 "carries" while the Packers closed out the Vikes.

    VICTORY IS MINE!

I lost my other league by only one stinkin' point. But I think I won my main league tonight.

It's funny how completely shitty Favre can play and no one in the MNF booth will ever say anything about it. It's why I used to have to watch Green Bay games on mute. It's always 'Brett's just trying to make things happen' instead of 'What the fuck is he thinking throwing it where there is no WR?'.

I didn't have much hope for tonight to begin with, but this was just gross.

Yep. Mort reported that the Saints were upset over the 3rd and 1 late in the game where a Broncos linebacker was clearly a half yard across the line of scrimmage when the ball was snapped.

They cut to TJ who looked like he was going to cry and simply repeated "Don't care." 5 or 6 times before Keyshawn made a comment about "those Cheating Broncos!" and Berman had to tell him to cut it out before quickly throwing it to commercial.

    Classic.
They blew the challenge of the Scheffler non-catch and fumble not too long before that which cost the Broncos at least 3 points. If you can't convert a 3rd and 1 in the 4th quarter of close game in the NFL, you don't deserve to win let alone bitch about it afterwards.

I'll remain silent about the Chargers call. That was absolute bullshit and the game was handed to them pure and simple. Didn't stop it from being awesome, especially with a Chargers fan in the room with me who was talking shit about the Broncos after they lost the lead.

I'm not sure it matters since with the way their pass defense has looked this year, they'll be lucky to get to 10-6, though they do get two games against the Chiefs and Oakland at home to help them along.

I got tired of Favre not making up his mind of what to do.

Now I'm getting tired of Al Davis. Are you gonna fire him or not?

I mentioned to a friend of mine last night during the game that I think that's probably the least interesting ongoing story in NFL history. Does anyone outside of Al Davis and the Kiffin family give a shit? And if so, why? Kiffin hasn't done anything with the young talent, so as a Raiders fan, would you really be affected either way?

And I hope that Danny Elfman does the theme for the tracking shot to his office each game that ends with him popping out from behind his desk and cackling!

Yeah but ESPNnews is having practically a daily "Is Kiffin fired?" update every couple of hours.

Kiffin has no control. He wants Rex Ryan fired as defensive coordinator but Al Davis won't do it.

They seem to at least be competing with Kiffin as coach.

Kiffin's doing the smart thing by not resigning. He'll collect his cash when Davis finally does it.

Kiffin isn't doing a bad job, really. I think the team, minus the first game, has played very well despite their obvious shortcomings and lack of experience. I mean, the guy has a defensive coordinator he doesn't like or want and an owner off his rocker who everyone knows wants to fire him. I think that they have won a game and were ahead most of the game this past week is quite astonishing, actually.

If he dies, then the title of most evil owner will pass to Jerry Jones.

This weekend, I discovered that I had forgotten all about this ESPN fantasy game called the Gridiron Challenge. Where you can get any player you want, provided your roster is under a certain "dollar amount." I think its kind of cool, and is a lot like their Best Ball Challenge, which I've played for 2-3 years now.

Charles Haley Would Like You to Watch him Masturbate

Haley would stroll up to an unsuspecting (49er) teammate, whip out his phallus, and repeatedly stroke it in his face. Players initially laughed it off...

But Haley refused to stop. He would jerk off in the locker room, in the trainer’s room. He’d wrap his hand around his penis, turn toward a Joe Montana or John Taylor, and bellow, ‘You know you wanna suck this!’

”Charles used to beat off in meetings while talking graphically about other players’ wives. It got to the point of ejaculation.”

This is the funniest thing I have ever read. Beyond parody.

I'll never play Tecmo Bowl the same again. From now on it's all about Bill Romanowski or Ronnie Lott.

His tenure was nearly as embarrassing as George Bush's, and it felt like it lasted just as long. Glad to see him go, as is everyone in this state.

I still can't imagine how a guy who averaged 4-12 every year as a GM couldn't get fired sooner.

I guess it's how I would imagine feeling as a Knicks fan if Isaiah Thomas had been allowed to keep his job for 4 more years.

The owner (William Clay Ford) is just one of the worst owners in sports. He's too loyal. A few days ago, the owner's son said he would have fired Millen a long time ago.

WCF is getting really up there in age. Maybe when he passes, the son will do a much better job.

Well, at least Calvin Johnson is looking to be a right pick. Out of the three or four #2's he had.
