Pro players born in the 2000s have done that to me.

Will be really embarassing when the day comes that my birth year isn't even eligible in create-a-player mode.

Yeah. Especially this year.

I thought that Rodgers was going to land with the Rams but then they traded for Stafford instead. So either the Raiders or the Broncos although Denver would be a huge step down from GB.

They have a WR/TE crew ready to go, just a terrible QB in Lock and a bad coach that they don't want to fire because it'll make the organization look bad for all the bad choices they've done the last few years. Solid defense though.

I don't know if I like this. Think the Titans have decided that, if they're going to win a championship then it's going to be in the next two years while Henry is (hopefully) still at or near peak performance. Julio is a huge threat and could be a good mentor to the young WR s we have on the team. At the same time, I don't know how much gas he's got left in the tank.

It's not so much that. Titans are close to their cap and would have to restructure a number contracts to free up the space to pay his contract, which I think is like 15.3 million. Don't get me wrong, if he joins then it greatly increases our chances of making a real run. I don't expect Henry to do nearly as well as the last two seasons, when he's been superhuman (I'm biased, but I think he's the best player in the league). I'm guessing he'll still be solid (~1300 yards), but definitely need some weapons in the catching game. Even if we land Julio, we are really hurting at TE, which is actually my main gripe: Titans could get a solid starting WR and TE for the cost of just his salary.

I don't think there are any WR or TE's in the market that can give you Julio's production (and I doubt there will be any available anytime soon) combined and, as you said, as good as Henry is, he, like all backs, has an expiration date. It's better to get Julio now and make a run than stay put and get stuck behind KC, Baltimore, Buffalo and maybe even Cleveland, Indy and Pittsburgh (if the latter fix their O-line).

Well, with someone like Julio, they would only need to be somewhat average on defense to contend and they've added some interesting pieces. He'll, if Bud Dupree comes back healthy, they could improve significantly by simply having someone capable of rushing the passer. Dude's coming from arguably two Pro Bowl caliber seasons.

It is, which is why we used up most of our cap and draft choices to completely replace 90% of the defense. If the Titans had even a mediocre defense last season, it's possible that we could've made a run. Having Julio helps a lot on offense, but I don't see Henry producing without some big blocks by TEs and assistance from WRs. I honestly don't know much about Julio's blocking ability, but having Corey Davis provide back up blocking was crucial to the offensive plan last season.

Davis was a fairly decent WR for the Titans but they probably couldn't afford to keep him.

Titans shootin' their shot this season. If everyone can stay healthy, bodes well. Still little in the way of TE, but defense and offense are now both stacked with talent.

I think it's a good signing for the Titans. Plus Julio doesn't even have to be the main guy with them having Brown, plus Henry of course to run the ball with. Might as well see if they can push for a title spot this season.

Signed Bud Dupree from Pittsburgh and drafted corner Caleb Farley in the first round. Will that be enough? We'll see.
