Everyone said he would be the savior of the Browns. What a disappointment.
Including me. Right up until he hired his friend's nephew (or whatever) Pat Shurmer.

    Enjoy your retirement, scumbag.

Holmgren never should have left the Packers. Sure he took the Seahawks to the SB, but I wonder if him and Favre would have won at least one more SB had Holmgren gotten what he wanted from Wolf and had stayed instead.

Holmgren was handed $50m to act as a figurehead to the Browns organization because Randy Lerner didn't want anything to do with running it.

He's probably fine with his decision.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Final reports are on Sundays and I don't think the Pats ever let the media know who is/isn't practicing midweek.

Brady will probably end up on it as Questionable (Shoulder) like he has for the past 10 years though.

The other option is going with SF on short rest against Seattle. SF will be irate about their loss yesterday and it's a division game at home. However, Id really like to use SF in Week 10 against St. Louis. (If I make it that long).
Seriously thinking of taking the Vikings now. Skelton is terrible, they have no RBs, and Arizona has bar none the worst offensive line I've ever seen.

If I could save the Pats and their cupcake schedule for later on I think it's a win.

Thing is, I don't think many people will pick the Pats. I think SF will be the top pick, and then I can root against them and Seattle will win.

The moral of this OTL piece is; Try to stay away from SF, Oakland, Baltimore and Washington stadiums where fan violence is out of control.

Avg fan ejection across the NFL for each game is 22.
In the first game of the year between SD @Oakland , 167 fans were ejected.

Outside The Lines had a good segment on sports fan violence today. They interviewed a man who was beaten so badly he almost died. What the fuck is wrong with the type of people who committed such violence? I guess I don't have to worry about it as much since I can't afford to go to any games, but its gotten a bit ridiculous.

Those are my "home" stadiums, where if I actually did go (and I won't) it would be as a visiting fan. Wish I felt safe going to away football games. I do it all the time with no issues for baseball games, but football scares the bejesus out of me.

Is this actually true statistically? I can't claim to have ever seen much violence at any game I attended. In fact, I have seen multiple visiting fans compliment our fanbase.

Not denying it, just surprised as it seems opposite of my experience.

It wasn't focused on as much as the other three stadiums but it had an above average innocent report.

If true, that's a BIG mistake. Week 9 after the bye makes so much more sense. Reports indicated he was predictably a little overweight in his first day of practice. He cannot possibly be in game-ready shape, nevermind there is no need to rush him back and risk a worse injury. A loss to Houston in this year's AFC is not that big of a deal.

    I am doubtful.

I dunno. He looked pretty good in the video they were showing on SportsCenter. Pretty good as in, running around and hittin stuff. But I do agree coming back after the bye makes way more sense. Maybe because of the loss of Lewis they think they need him?

Seattle +7.5 was one of the greatest gambling wins then losses then wins I've ever head. Thank you Jim Harbaugh for declining that safety.

The other person left in my survivor pool took the Texans. I'm taking Minnesota. Goooo Ravens.

should i accept this trade? (my players are on top). I am tempted bc Fitzgerald has rough schedule in the playoff weeks, Shonn Greene is a bum with one monster game, and Alfred Morris can't really keep it up all season...

    opp schedule for playoff weeks
    RB A. Morris (#3 RB) BAL/@PHI/@CLE/DAL
    WR L. Fitzgerald (#14 WR) @SEA/CHI/DET/@SF
    RB S. Greene (#16 RB) @JAX/@TEN/SD/@BUF

    RB J. Charles (#4 RB) @CLE/@OAK/IND/@DEN
    WR H. Nicks (#50 WR) NO/@ATL/@BAL/PHI
    TE A. Gates (#14 TE) @PIT/CAR/@NYJ/OAK

DeMarco Murray is injured and LeSean McCoy is on a bye week. I have no RB2 to play. I can pick up either Ben Tate or LaGarrette Blount. Help?

Yeah, I can't believe the people that come to Cleveland. Brave folks, I'll give them that.
