I'm going to puke.
I'm going to puke.
Okay Gaffney was in bounds but you never know how the refs will rule. And the Ravens decided to piss this game away completely. The Pats can't play this way though against the Steelers and hope to win.

Yeah, fuck the Ravens. They were always my least favorite team next to the Pats. Still are.

You have to admit, this loss goes all on Billick's shoulders. The players did their best to stop Brady.

The Ravens gave that one away. The Pats should have turned it over on downs twice on that final drive. Anyway, New England is definitely beatable, and they're beatable by bad teams no less.
Well the Ravens suck and the Pats stay undefeated even though they really should have lost this game. Wow.
My current new rankings:
1. Pats-12-0
2. Cowboys-11-1
3. Packers-10-2
4. Colts-10-2
5. Steelers-9-3
6. Jaguars-8-4
7. Seahawks-8-4
8. Bucs-8-4
9. Giants-8-4
10. Titans-7-5
Had the Browns won they would have at least been #10. But they lost to a Cardinals team that has been widely inconsistant this season while the Titans took care of business against a division rival. The Colts proved to me that despite the injuries they still are the best team in the AFC South. Even though New York has the offense to beat Tampa Bay overall this season I thnk the Bucs have proved to be vastly underrated, while NY almost pissed it away this weekend against the Bears. Despite losing to Dallas I still think Green Bay is the second best team in the NFC and the third best in the league. Pats keep their spot despite almost losing to the Ravens tonight.

The Browns should have won their game too. The ref screwed them with a horrible call at the end of the game.

Hmm I didn't get to see the game but I forgot all about that controversy. I'll have to hunt down the play on YouTube to make a final decision. To me the Titans and Browns are almost equal, but only because the Titans have the better defense while Cleveland has the better offense.Quoting Watashi (view post)

Yeah, that was lame. How Winslow wasn't getting pushed out of bounds is beyond me. The ref was right there to see it. That could cost the Browns a playoff spot.Quoting Watashi (view post)
Wow, what a game. Fun game to watch, and all credit to the Ravens for playing tough, real tough. Their defense and run attack were both really intense.

I hope that doesn't happen. I like the idea of the long suffering Browns making the playoffs this season, even if they aren't built to succeed in the post season.Quoting Kurosawa Fan (view post)

I feel bad for the Ravens' defense, but I still thought that was hilarious. What a ridiculous way to end a game.
Wishful thinking, perhaps; but that is just another possible definition of the featherless biped.
Ha, New England almost got beat by two teams manned by backup quarterbacks. Just imagine what Roethlisberger and the Steelers can do against them this Sunday.
And yet on ESPN.com, the first line below the top story's photo is "Maybe the Pats are destined to go 16-0." Baltimore blew the game.
EDIT: And why do you hate the Ravens, KF?

I don't care for Brian Billick and Ray Lewis, the faces of their franchise. I also don't care for their grind it out style of play. It led to the single most boring and nearly unwatchable Super Bowl that I've been alive to see. Plus their uniforms suck. :PQuoting Ivan Drago (view post)
The Ravens have way cool uniforms.

I wasn't being serious. They're not my favorite uniforms in the world, but they aren't bad either. I was just giving a complaint that my wife would lodge. She likes to comment on whether the uniforms are attractive or not.
i'm feeling good about my steelers chances next week.
Yeah, they match-up pretty well against the Pats. I have to imagine after two relatively disappointing weeks, Belichick is going to have them ready to let it all go next week on offense, but that D looks old and tired, especially against the run. It'll be interesting to see what happens.Quoting ledfloyd (view post)

After sleeping on it, fuck the Ravens the for getting my hopes up. My team has 3 wins so that was one of the few things I had left to root for.
And I'm pretty sure the Steelers are getting destroyed next week so that puts me in a position of wanting the Pats to lose and desperately wanting the Dolphins to keep losing. It'll be like Sophie's Choice on who I root for that game.
Not that this is that big of a deal at this point, being 4-8, but my dad won 2 tickets and 2 field passes to the Rams-Bengals game this Sunday. He can't go, so me and my brother are going. I'm excited, just wish we were on the verge of the playoffs instead of being teh sux.
Not sure what the field passes entail, but that's cool to find out, plus i'm sure the seats have to be excellent too (haven't got the tickets yet to see where they are). All I know is as much as I usually yell and drink during the games, I'll be doing it 10 fold this Sunday!
Right. Like, if Sophie wanted to kill both her children, but was only allowed to get rid of one. Sort of like that.Quoting shaun (view post)

Thanks a lot, Steelers. The Pats are going undefeated.
