Do you think the Vikes achieved the rare 35 point touchdown? They got that all in one possession? There is no excuse to having -4 yards rushing as a professional football team. None.
I score the rare 35 point TD once But alas everyone there to see it denied it ever happened.

Man the offensive line for the Chiefs blows right now. 'Roid man is having a field day, sacking the QB a buch of times.

Yeah I feel bad for the 'Skins in regards to what happened to Taylor. But on game day I have to say LOL Washington for losing to the Bills. At least Buffalo won this week...God it was a shitty sports weekend for me.

It didn't make sense on paper. Running the ball 3 times total in the first half doesn't make any sense at all. Whatsoever. It's ridiculous.
    Tell that to the Patriots.

I think he meant it makes no sense to do that when you're the Lions and your QB is Jon Kitna, not when your QB is Tom Brady and your throwing to Moss, Stallworth, Watson, etc.

Right, doy. KF's comment was about Martz's game plan specifically for the Lions so what's the point in saying that the same game plan has consistently worked for the Pats when we already know that?

I jinxed Cleveland and Jacksonville heh. If you believe in that sort of thing....(which I do sometimes).

Anyways Indy proved to me they are worthy of being in the Top 5. I'm starting to think that maybe they could beat the Steelers despite being banged up, but if they don't get back some key players by the playoffs they're not going to repeat. Jacksonville still has a long ways to go to contending in the division, as do the Titans although I think both teams next season stand a good chance of toppling Indy's long time dominance.

Man, the Steelers/Bengals game was one of the most boring football games I've ever seen.
Wishful thinking, perhaps; but that is just another possible definition of the featherless biped.

Marvin Lewis should be fired. I've said it before and I'll say it until he actually does get the ax. His team has been sloppy and undisciplined for years. They had the talent to be a contender in the AFC and have amounted to a flashy, one and done playoff team if that. His performance as a head coach is deserving of dismissal.

I'm so glad the Jets could contribute 2 losses to the Dolphins inevitable 0-16 season.

Seeing their misery makes our craptastic season worthwhile.

The winless season watch continues. Come on Dolphins, 0-16 is in your grasp. I'm holding my breath with eager anticipation, if only because the next bunch of teams they play (aside from the Pats) are terrible and may end the beautiful winless streak.

Yeah, he and Billick (who ironically made a good team together) are just about the worst head coaches in the NFL by my count.

OK, I forgot Norv Turner was still coaching...

I thought about submitting Herm Edwards, but he's more of a mediocre coach instead. Mike Martz used to qualify as did Dennis Green and Art Shell. I wonder if any of those guys will ever coach again

The Bengals have to change from the top first. There's not a winning attitude from the ownership. Mike Brown is content to have a .500 team in Cincinnati, since that's what's selling tickets and merchandise here. Too many years of losing has led to mediocraty being a good thing. I say fuck that, I wanna win some time. Cincinnati has great football out the ass: High School- top 2 division state champs, 1 ranked in top 3 in national polls; College- UC had a good year in the Big East bringing hope to the immediate city, not to mention Ohio State playing for the national title for the 2nd straight season. I want to have a reason to cheer for football on Sundays, too, cause this Bungle's bullshit sucks. Hell, I bet St. Xavier could beat them (the h.s. Div. 1 state champ/national power) I know OSU could.

Right now the Ravens running game is taking it to the Pats. The Pats and Ravens have answered each other score for score in what could end up being a shootout. I'm actually wondering if Baltimore can pull the upset.

OK, so maybe it was too early last week to say the Pats looked vulnerable, but, uh, how about now?

Actually the Pats shouldn't worry about losing this game. Better to lose in the regular season than in the playoffs. I can't believe what I'm watching right now. Must be Don Shula's presence in the booth heh. That or him and the rest of the '72 Dolphins are stabbing the voodo dolls they made of the Pats players.

Also what's with the use of Led Zeppelin during the game cast tonight? They're a great band and all but I don't understand why their tunes are being played constantly tonight.

PS: Well Boiler reverted to form.

If the Ravens stop the Pats here they may very well win this.

PS: And Baltimore forces the Pats to kick a field goal. This will only pump up the Ravens more. I smell momentum quckily shifting back to the home team.

More Zeppelin music. Does MNF now have band themes? Maybe they'll feature an American classic rock band in the new future.

Probably because Mothership came out not too long ago, and I think there is another upcoming re-release.

They did the same thing when the new Kanye album came out.

Wasn't everyone painfully aware that when Boller threw that pick instead of putting Baltimore up by two scores that this game was over? That 3 and out just confirmed it.

  22. #322
Wow. The Baltimore coaching staff just blew it. Unbelievable.

Oh. That makes sense I suppose.

Hmmm previously I was convinced that the Pats were going to lose. But the Ravens let Brady run for the first down which seriously hurts them. This game is down to the wire man.

How are they not blitzing him? I know you don't want to get burned deep, but this way Brady's just going to pick you apart and get the TD anyway? The only time they blitzed it was successful.
