Sounds like Alex Smith got Theisman’ed thirty three years to the day Theisman got Theisman’ed.

Haven't watch a replay of it yet.
    Wow. What a coincidence.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Couldn't do it without the zebras. Steelers fan should be embarrassed and ashamed.
They did fuck it up on that roughing the passer call on Calais Campbell. The rest of those, it was the Jaguars shooting themselves in the fokt and Bortles being Bortles. No apologies.

    Look at all those superbowls...
Can't win any superbowls when you're surrounded by a line that gets you beaten up over and over, can't run the ball and your defense can't stop anyone. The fact they made it to the playoffs all those years is a near miracle.

Sad to hear. I had wished Smith the best in DC, and now his career might be over.

Not to mince words, but we all thought Indy had Lucked into another long term future QB but imo he's mostly been mediocre at best. I bet Belichek is done when Brady retires, especially since they dumped QBs he wanted to replace him.
Luck when healthy made the AFC title game. I bet the Colts fix the defense next season.

Either him or Josh Dobbs. The thing is, whoever goes after Roethlisberger will most likely have a really good supporting cast, so, unless they become Nathan Peterman, the Steelers should remain a good team, even if they don't remain a champion-caliber one.
I think Dobbs will be a career backup. Rudolph was drafted to be Big Ben's replacement.

Except if Belicheck stays on past Brady he will draft a successor. Also the Pats showed the year Brady was suspended that they are built to win without him. Plus the AFC East is a mess. Their SB days will be over, though.

The Steelers and until recently GB have offen ignored or missed on o-line, even though that's how you get your QB killed on the field. Both Big Ben and Rodgers have missed games as a result. Although you can also make the case that both hold onto the football for too long.

That's Colt McCoy, Kessler is with Jacksonville.

They did ignore it for the most part until the beginning of this decade when they drafted Maurkice Pouncey, David DeCastro and Marcus Gilbert. Signing Mike Munchak helped a lot as well, since he has been able to turn nobodies into starting caliber linemen over and over again (see Alejandro Villanueva, B. J. Finney, Chris Hubbard and more recently Matt Feiler).
Haven't the Packers been drafting a fair amount of linemen in the higher rounds like Derek Sherrod and Jason Spriggs?

Yes to both. In fact the Packers o-line being improved is why McCarthy not running Aaron Jones more is so frustrating. Also GB is smart enough to realize that Bryan Bulaga gets hurt way too much, although he is still with the team. Sherrod is no longer with GB, though.

    Villanueva is a beast btw.

PS: According to PFF here: https://www.profootballfocus.com/new...-after-week-10

Steelers and GB are #1 and #2 in offensive line. I didn't realize they were that high. KC is 13. Ouch.

Hah the defense is ranked near dead last in the NFL. They couldn't even beat the Pats. I am fine with Hunt being released, especially since I read he lied about the whole thing.

Didn't expect the Chiefs, even with Hunt, to be the team to make it to the SuperBowl when defense eventually needs to count for something. I could easily see them being taken out by the likes of Patriots, Steelers, and even the Texans...

KC beat the Steelers in the regular season. If the Colts make it that's who KC will most likely lose to, as usual. My money was on the Dolphins or Ravens, just because new QB, new playoff team to fuck up against.
