Ooooo, I like how you now have a blu-ray section. I hadn't seen that before. Anyway, definitely buying I'm Not There and eventually renting Dans Paris.
    Last 5, out of ****:

This is the greatest DVD cover ever.

The "Kate Todd as Lauren" had me in stitches.
    Sure why not?

STRONGER (David Gordon Green) - 6
THE DISASTER ARTIST (James Franco) - 7
THE FLORIDA PROJECT (Sean Baker) - 9
LADY BIRD (Greta Gerwig) - 8

"Hitchcock is really bad at suspense."

    Wow, yeah, that's unbelievable.

And that tagline... I wish I could express adequately the so many ways that tagline shows, in behalf of those responsible for it, a complete lack of wit and sagacity.
The Act of Killing (Oppenheimer 13) - A
Stranger by the Lake (Giraudie 12) - B
    American Hustle (Russell 13) - C+
The Wolf of Wall Street (Scorsese 13) - C+

    BUY BUY BUY:

And I insist everyone rent Teeth. Still one of the best movies of the year so far.
    Quote Quoting Donald Glover
I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

I love the quote on the MST3K cover:

"Every year Hollywood makes hundreds of movies. This is one of them!"

Renting I'm Not There and Teeth.

Is I'm Not There the last of the non-foreign Oscar contenders of last year to come to dvd?

    Regardless, that and that alone.
    The Boat People - 9
The Power of the Dog - 7.5
The King of Pigs - 7

It seems to me that it's become something of a badge of honor to watch and survive a Boll film.

To be honest, if I wasn't imagining Uwe screaming commands at the actors during each scene, it probably wouldn't even have worked as a "so bad, it's good" b-movie.

I'd like to see La Roue and I'd probably rent I'm Not There again before buying it.
Wishful thinking, perhaps; but that is just another possible definition of the featherless biped.
