This is a quite decent survival Horror that's mainly worth watching for the acting combo of Idris Elba and Sharlto Copley and the AMAZING hungry lion CGI. The widower storyline is kind of clichéd for this type of film but it might be a case of "if it ain't broke, just don't fix it".
