Things isn't low budget. It's more like zero budget filmmaking ha ha.

And it's happened once again
I'll turn to a friend
Someone that understands
And sees through the master plan
But everybody's gone
And I've been here for too long
To face this on my own
Well, I guess this is growing up

97. Pocahontas (1995, Eric Goldberg, Mike Gabriel)
My family dragged me to Pocahontas because my younger sister who's now the middle child wanted to see it. I don't really care for musicals a whole lot so that was strike one. Even as a kid I had a feeling the whole movie was bullshit, so that was strike two. Strike three was having a movie based on a real person include cute lame animals so strike three. You're out, movie. I don't loathe this film but it's pretty depressing that it doesn't even try to stay true to her actual story.
Look I know you shouldn't get any history lessons from Hollywood or kids movies yet one can still expect them to at least try. This movie doesn't do that very much although the songs were good at least. I'd rather just view Mulan again instead.
