A good ending, doesn't really do anything wrong, and it's pretty absorbing, but if the penultimate episode managed to re-introduce an element of unpredictability and suspense into the narrative, the final episode sort of feels like checking a bunch of boxes without real surprise. []

Loved it. Would have to do a full rewatch to be sure, but this season is only second to Season 2 to me, and they're close.

The show is so good. Everything from the performances to the writing, the unusual pacing, the brilliant visual approach... It's all a masterclass and I doubt we'll see any fiction so lovingly crafted and profoundly affecting anytime soon. It's become my favorite of the Breaking Bad universe.
