I think it worked. The death like that of someone you know coupled with the guilt of it all can easily lead to what might be seen as irrational behavior - and the quick jump. While this episode is taking place, Walt and Jesse might be doing their first cook so we're already in the BB timeline.

Yeah, this is kinda ballsy. So [

We learned that Kim grew up in Nebraska. I have a feeling there will be a tie in with Kim and 'Gene' in the post-BB timeline.

610 was boring. What was the point?

Maybe it's part of the NCU and we'll see Will Forte too.

Good question. Relatively speaking, no BCS episode has been legit bad, and the writers have build up shitloads of goodwill, but this is starting to feel like it's runnin' outta gas.

I think the season proper ended with 609 - I don't think we'll be seeing Mike and Gus again. Their scenes seemed like sendoffs. What we're getting now is like an epilogue.

Damn, this show is a masterpiece. It has a vibe all of its own and remains the best thing I've seen on TV in a long time.

That break up scene almost had me in tears.

We'll see how it wraps things up, but 6x09 was the way to go.

I did like 6x11, and how Saul Goodman is his own worst enemy. The BB scenes were certainly complementary and not just fan service.

Good and bad - last night's episode. I really don't find Saul's con artist shenanigans interesting at all - along with Jeff (or whatever his name is) who's a dull character. I usually re-watch the previous episode before watching the new one but not last night. The crossover scenes were very by-the-book - I mean like no surprises or anything like that and the humor seemed forced. My favorite scene was the phone call with Francesca.

Interesting... but it wasn't funny. Pretty much just a straight overview of the series from a different perspective.

Rhea Seehorn has gotta be handed the statue just for that episode alone

Her scene on the bus was phenomenal. The "Yep Yep Yep" bit though has me howling lol.

    Loved this shot:

    Midnight Run (1988) - 9
    The Smiling Lieutenant (1931) - 8.5
    The Adventures of Robinhood (1938) - 8
    Sisters (1973) - 6.5
    Shin Godzilla (2016) - 7.5

Anyone says it's the best show on television, I might not agree but I got no ammo to go up against that person.

I'm not watching anything else at the moment - not a big tv show watcher. I will say though that the slow pace of the story especially early on reminded me of Twin Peaks: The Return. Are other shows doing this slow-paced thing?

So, it was a good finale episode but I could have definitely done without that "Thank You" segment. WTF!

Yeah, I didn't care for that either, though I get why they did it, at least. Otherwise, really good stuff!

    What "Thank You" segment?

I just finished it. Absolutely floored.

There was one on the AMC+ app, so I guess it wasn't aired everywhere.

The closing credits were interrupted with a thank you video from the cast. I guess I overreacted - it was kind of like when actors take a curtain call after a play.
