Feels weird (and indulgent) to have a slight complaint that a climax in which arrows can both light forest fire and explode buildings seems like a *comedown* from its mid-film action sequence. But it's from how that mid-film animal-assisted raid will most likely be the action sequence to beat this year, spectacular in its outrageous choreography and design. The more-is-more spectacle approach here also means that the necessary "break-up" stretch on the way to the finish line can feel its slack, but overall this film is maximalist blockbuster action filmmaking at full imaginative power. 8/10
