Top Ten Films First Seen in 2022

    Someone's gotta do it.
    Blog!

    And it's happened once again
    I'll turn to a friend
    Someone that understands
And sees through the master plan
    But everybody's gone
And I've been here for too long
To face this on my own
Well, I guess this is growing up

    1. Cold Water (1994, Olivier Assayas)

This one will probably stay at or near the top for a while.

Watchlisted. I had a rough start with Assayas until Irma Vep, now I'm on a hot streak with him.

I am not a fan of Assayas - watched this because I watch whatever D'Angelo likes. I think he loves Assayas because of this one - sometimes first impressions go a long way. This one is a lot like a Dardenne brothers film - but it came first.

It's a three point difference between the two. I found Witch to be more interesting. I really liked both a lot.
