7/10 from me. Very light and breezy, pretty much what I expected. A few good laugh-out-loud moments. The stakes don't feel particularly high, though.

This trailer looks to be another Ryan Reynolds vehicle that just sputters and breaks down. Guy must be leading the industry in failed franchise attempts.
At least Reynolds does R rated too. Really wish the Rock had taken over the 80s Arnold position instead of being so family friendly.
This had opportunities to be more biting and irreverent than it actually is and it takes some time for Taika Waititi’s villain to feel threatening, but the film’s creative script is full of hilarious lines and builds an interesting GTA-meets-Fortnite world. It’s also worth noting that the action sequences are entertaining, Ryan Reynolds and Lil Rel Howery have great chemistry together, Jodie Comer steals the show in a dual role and the film has a surprising but welcome amount of heart to it. It’s fun for its runtime.

Wow 2 yays here? This was unbearable. It caters to a very young, twitch-streaming aware audience. Absolutely none of the short appearances of the streamers are recognizable (or interesting) and I am a GAMER! This is another failed attempt at trying to create a franchise around Ryan Reynolds.
