I saw this and enjoyed it.

I'll probably be the only person here that says this.

    And that's okay.

Yeah my audience was super into this from start to finish. They even applauded at the end credits.

Anyhow, I'd be remiss if I didn't admit that I was sucked into this movie in part for nostalgic reasons (I grew up with a LOT of the IP that makes cameos in this), and I also won't argue that the movie tried to have its cake and eat it too as far as trying to be self-aware it's a nostalgia-driven movie and being a nostalgia-driven movie at the same time because some of the referential humor and product placement feels really try-hard in place. It's also worth noting that it takes some time for the Looney Tunes to come into the picture. But the animation and visual effects are gorgeous, Don Cheadle and LeBron James are solid in their roles, and the movie never takes itself seriously thanks to a cartoonish tone throughout, even in the live-action sequences. I laughed as Bugs and LeBron scoured worlds for his fellow Looney Tunes, searched for characters I grew up with in the crowd, and was endeared by the father-son dynamic at the heart of the film's story. It's better than the original in the sense that it has narrative throughlines for audiences to attach to, but has a more inconsistent sense of humor. But in the end, I was entertained from start to finish.

I was too old for the first Space Jam so I have no interest in this sequel, but my kids (who to my knowledge have never seen the first one) love it.
