I've been just doing wine in the last 12 months. Trying to expand my pallet.
I'm drunk on wine...again. Usually ordering a case of 6 bottles to be delivered every other week.

Wine isn't my thing. I miss liquor sometimes.

The first casualty of the covid crisis was our wine cellar. In March we had several cases stashed away. As of today we are down to our last bottle.

Alright, now it’s time to panic buy.

A friend gave me a $75 gift card to a large liquor store that isn't in his state.

    Do I:
Get myself a nice $100 bottle of
    -whiskey
    -tequila
    -brandy
    -wine

Or just have my beer fridge loaded for god knows how long?

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

100$ bottle of whiskey. It's worth it. You only have to lick the rim once in a while.

South Dakota rules were in effect yesterday. Beer from 0615 to 2200. Maintained a nice buzz throughout the day without going overboard.

Although, I almost made a martini after the inaugural bbq with the 1050. That could’ve produced a snowball effect.

    What beer you drinking?

I feel you on the martini and things snowballing. Mixing high gravity beer and rum last night might not have been my greatest idea. Been dealing with a nasty hangover all day.

Dakota Soul, Zywiec, Salmon Pants, Lonely Blonde. I think that just about covers it.

I had a good six pack IPA from an Iowa brewery a month back. Currently slumming it with PBR and Heineken right now.

Oh and Ezee what do you think of Breckenridge Brewery? I also enjoyed a six pack of their Hop In Hand Tropical IPA back in April as well. One of my local HY-Vees had it.

It's fine. There's so many breweries around Denver that you really just go for the one that has the coolest atmosphere.

    Stone cold sober, but:

Thanks to Alton Brown, I’ve developed a taste for Beefeater 24 for my gin and tonics. Just picked up a bottle and a couple things of tonic. Think I’ll have a couple while fishing this weekend, since I won’t be driving the boat.

I love that movie. Still own my collector's edition on DVD.
