It's great to see you, Spinal

There's just something about that amber colour of whiskies. They all just look so delicious.

When I go to a liquor store, I get hungry.

Good to hear. As am I, though that could be because my wife let me sleep in this morning.

It cracked me up when I saw that you had recently posted in both the College Football and the Drunk Thread. Ah, well. Best of luck with the rebuilding effort. Maybe you can still ruin Ohio St.'s season.

Pipe dreams good sir. Pipe dreams. But they'll still be dreams for another 5 weeks or so. That's better than nothing I suppose.

Out of curiosity, how much did that bottle set you back? I ask because we sold that at the bar I used to work at for $14 a glass.

    It was $42.99 for me.

The LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) holds a monopoly on liquor sales in the province, and can pretty much charge whatever they want.

    EDIT: Bottle finished.

Was in the mood for a simple, fruit-based nightcap: Welch's Mandarin Orange juice and Hangar One Mandarin Blossom vodka.

I also drank my fair share last night.
Wishful thinking, perhaps; but that is just another possible definition of the featherless biped.
