Arby's chicken sandwiches are alright. I hardly ever go to them these days.

Popeye's Classic
Tier: Fast Food
Crunch -- Kept in a warming bag until I got it home, the breading quickly became soggy. 4/10
Chicken Flavor -- Decent. 7/10
Spice -- No spicy spice. More flavor from the pickles and mayo. Needed more pickles. 7/10
Bread -- Inoffensive. 6/10
Overall -- Would eat again if I didn't feel like making food or waiting an hour for a quality delivery.

Should I post pics?
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"
"Rick...it's a flamethrower."
Ummm. Yes. I may do the same.
Suggestions on toppings / prep?
We're doing bakery fresh rolls, and fried chicken breast fillets. Other that that we don't have anything set in stone.

My dream chicken sandwich would have lettuce, tomato, deep fried jalapeno, tomato, pepperjack cheese, fried onion bits, and some sort of chipotle sauce.
this recipe is good!
Skitch knows the magic of the chipotle peppers in adobo sauce! That stuff is pure, unadulterated deliciousness. Any opportunity where I think they would work, I put them in. Amazing in chili.Quoting Skitch (view post)

Marinate your chicken in buttermilk for a couple hours before breading and cooking. Be sure to put salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in your breading / flour.Quoting megladon8 (view post)
Mayo, swiss cheese, and thick cut bacon cooked in a 400 degree oven for 15-20 minutes for toppings.

A tablespoon of dill pickle juice in the buttermilk, too.

If there is one thing I have learnt in this life, North Americans have strong views on fast food menu items.

KFC - Kentucky Fried Chicken Sandwich
I was sooooo disappointed when I took this picture. That's it? Hardly any mayo, just a somewhat sad looking sandwich.
But when I bit into the sandwich? Very satisfying. The balance of sweetness from the bun with the salt of the chicken and the pickles... it all worked. Chicken was a little juicy, firm, well-made enough that it make me happy a week after the Deluxe McDisappointment from last week. Crispy exterior on the chicken (some sog spots) but then again, I had to wait 45 minutes from when I left the restaurant to eat it.
I do think this could have used some more mayo (in my case), lettuce, tomato, but as is, this worked for me for a fast-food option. Gonna go high on this, 8/10. Point loss for lack of mayo and it looking nothing like the advertisement.
Ate at Tumbleweed last night. I cant not get the same thing every freakin time, because its just the best thing on the menu. It comes as a burger but I always sub to chicken: Peppercorn-encrusted, piled high with onion straws, hot pepper cheese, pico de gallo, jalapeño rings and jalapeño ranch. Served with Jalapeño Tabasco® sauce. I don't know where they get their jalapenos, but they are the hottest jalapenos I've ever had. No joke, they are same level as the habeneros across the street at Buffalo Wild Wings. Super fresh, delicious crunch, make me cry.

If I'm going to Sonic, it's for a shake. I've not had great results with their food. Cookout, on the other hand, is damn good for fast food.
